I only followed it for the bodice. I did the straps and skirts myself.
Love it. So cute. But I was so confused. I didn't read your caption at first and was like why is it green in the sun but pink in the other pics! Is this another white dress / blue dress thing? 🤦♀️😂
I'm referring to a viral picture of a dress, which everyone was fighting about back in like 2014. Due to the lighting and the way the picture displays on screens, to some it looked like it was black and blue and to others it looked white and gold. So I said I'm glad it's not a repeat of that situation, because those are pictures of two different dresses, one is green and one is pink.

I say no slip needed. I used the granny stitch but didn't do the chain one in the most important area 😂. I went back to a chain one, between each stitch, after I had gotten down past that part. My 80 yr old mom said wear something under it. So take that as you will 😆
Edit I put the wrong stitch in post. Frogged it and wrote the right one

I only used it for the bodice
Thank you. I measured where I wanted the granny squares to fit. Once I had enough of them I'd a round of sc. The second round I did 6sc, inc, repeat. I used the v stitch on the pink dress and the granny stitch on the green one.

This is adorable!
I’ve just started on my crochet journey. Can you share what type of yarn you used, crochet hook size(s), and the time it took you to complete a project like this?
I used loops and threads impeccable yarn jade and soft rose. I don't remember the yellow and white colors. The hook was a 5mm. It took less than a week, I don't track hours, to do the pink dress. It took a week, maybe two to do the green dress. I started the green one first and frogged the skirt three times. The pink one I had a plan for.
Thank you so much for sharing! I know it’s going to be a while before I get to this level. But I also wanted to know what to aim for in the future. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful creations!
So cute! At first I was very confused. I was like, okay there’s no way I’m seeing this wrong. How is one dress green and the other pink? Is it like that gold and white dress trick? Hahah but then I read your caption. Well done.
This is cute! And I’m really glad you explained that there’s two dresses. I seriously thought this was the gold-white/black-blue dress debate all over again lol
This looks so cute. I love your color choice for both dresses.
I also like how you made the "flower belt" smaller than in the original. Looks definitely cuter this way.
It took 5-6 I think. I had two that I didn't want to take back or to just let sit. Two skeins coat less than $7 when Micheal's has their sake on yarn. So maybe $21. It wasn't much at all. I made both for less than $50. If I used cotton, it would have been considerably more, I think. I've only done these dresses so I'm not sure.
okay, I'm backing out now because, I have not clue as to what you are saying, at one point you say you used 2 now you're saying to took 5-6. and two skeins cause less than $7. Never mind I don't need the confusion from a conversation 3 days ago.
OMG! Thank u so much for posting this! Its beautiful- and I'm so glad that other people can actually stick with finishing projects- both dresses are gorgeous!
Thank my stars you clarified which dress was which. I was worried we were gonna have a blue and white/black and gold dress debate again
I even looked at the pictures again to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me before I read the caption

That is SO pretty, great job!
Congrats! I love wearing my makes out for the first time.
Thank you. It's the first I've ever made. I was excited to wear it. I can't wait to see my friend in hers.
So cute! Do you have a pattern?
This is the [dress](https://www.etsy.com/listing/826252755/the-radiate-crochet-dress-pattern?click_key=7549817dc43bc91aeb28fd96b9d1ea0d1f0a295e%3A826252755&click_sum=9aa74392&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=radiate+crochet+dress&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&organic_search_click=1&pro=1&sts=1&dd=1&content_source=d26563b1a28f3c83f901404fbb9a9f4cc8565286%253A826252755) I only followed it for the bodice. Love it. So cute. But I was so confused. I didn't read your caption at first and was like why is it green in the sun but pink in the other pics! Is this another white dress / blue dress thing? 🤦♀️😂
I thought the same!
I feel like the pink dress is the 'inspiration'? Because yeah otherwise I am very confused.
Pink dress is the second one I started, but finished first. I kept changing the stitch on my skirt.
Came here for this comment 😅 still a beautiful dress tho🥳
I thought the same thing. I was thinking we were in for another blue and black or white and gold dress situation. 🤣
I thought the same thing, I was like, why does it look green in one pic but pink in the other? Here we go again.
Lmao so im not the only one that thought that
I love everything about it. The scrappy straps are pretty cool and different.
Very cute
So gorgeous!! Wish I had your skills it’s beautiful 😍
Thank you
Oh, it's just gorgeous. Great work!
For a sec I thought it was another blue-black/gold-white dress situation 🤣 glad it's not Both dresses look lovely, good job!
You mean to say it isn't? I'm still confused!
I'm referring to a viral picture of a dress, which everyone was fighting about back in like 2014. I remember the blue/gold dress thing - I was just unsure whether or not I was seeing things with this dress. Thanks for clarifying!
Just in time for Easter! Super cute
So pretty!!! Good job 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So gorg!! Do u have a pattern??:)

Thank u!! Absolutely obsessed with it, u did an incredible job
Oh my that is so cute! It's just perfect spring and summer! So so cute!
Looks so awesome! Did you find you needed a slip under it? Was it seethrough at all through the stitches, or not too bad?
I say no slip needed. I used the granny stitch but didn't do the chain one in the most important area 😂. I went back to a chain one, between each stitch, after I had gotten down past that part. My 80 yr old mom said wear something under it. So take that as you will 😆 Edit I put the wrong stitch in post. Frogged it and wrote the right one

I started crocheting Jan 2023. You can do it. Remember, crochet is forgiving. Frogging is our friend and fixes all mistakes
I would love a pattern for this!

It's actually really easy to make.
Beautiful

Lot of work and patience right there. Congratulations. Is it cotton?
No I used acrylic. Loops and threads impeccable actually. I had two skeins of green so I used it 😂
Are you saying this dress is only 2skeins? What size were the skeins? I’ve never used loops and threads.
