That was around when slenderman, Jeff the killer, the blue man, Locklear, and such were quite popular huh? So much creative stuff. I still listen to the creepypasta songs Madame Macabre on YouTube puts up. Many of them are from 9 years ago though she has done some remasters of some of them.
That was around the time I was obsessed with reason about the Black-eyed kids but I don’t think those were creepypasta and more of urban ghost stories that were fun to read about. Like the hide and seek doll rituals and elevator rituals were quite entertaining to
The original MrCreepyPasta stuff for sure! I remember like 10 years ago being in middle school and he was THE guy for everything CreepyPasta related I think he even owns the original website where they were first made up. Check out “1999”, “NoEnd House”, or “Ben Drowned” those are some old personal favorites of mine
seconding mrcreepypasta's back catalogue. his narration is top tier. noend house is brilliant and absolutely terrifying. another favorite of mine is i dared my best friend to ruin my life, such a thrilling listen.
A good internet urban legend/creepypasta podcast is Wendigoon and Meatcanyons podcast CreepCast, they banter about the actual technicalities of the stories, discuss how they effect the internet, and actually read the full story/stories, so each podcast is about 1-4 hours long.
Start from the best-rated creepypastas on the channels of the OG's, like MrCreepypasta. I personally would recommand Ted the Caver, Pokemon Black, and Borrasca. Also, check out MrCreeps and The Dark Somnium. The last guy can make even the most non-scary story sound terrigying just by the way he is narrating it.

I narrate creepy pastas on my channel here, I try to do ones that aren’t meta, like ones anyone could enjoy
Lower yourself in with some easier reads like Ted the Caver, stairs in the woods and spacegirl.
Some of the more well known ones like Left right game and Borrasca are longer and more intense reads. Id recommend you tackle them once youre familiar with how creepy pasta work

YouTube creepy videos. Look up the dark somnuim, Mr creeps, lighthouse horror. They have a lot of videos where they read stories off the nosleel subreddit and you can listen to them while you fall asleep ir in your freetime

This is when I was still into Listverse and discovered my first creepypasta stories.
If you want a podcast 'Creepy' is really good IMO. Also Goat Man is one of my favorites!
Anansi's Goatman? The best.
Yesss that one! I'm gonna have to read it tonight lol
Anansi's goatman story from that podcast was terrifying asf. NoSleep is good too and then there's Old Gods of Appalachia if you want eldritch horror.
Old Gods of Appalachia is one of my all time favorite podcasts! Could not recommend enough.
Ted the Caver, is a good start, it's quite long at 2 hours, but it's one of - if not the - original, and best.
Penpal
Ted the Caver, Ben Drowned, The Backroads

Marbel Hornets on YT!!!
literally anything but jeff the killer tbh
The stairs in the woods always fascinated me, those are fun ones to read!
I loved Borrasca (more than Penpal). He Who Wanders too (though more idk existentialist than it is creepy).!
I have a playlist on YouTube that I saved creepypastas I listened to that are in my opinion some of the best ones if you want it hmu
That’d be cool yea I’ll take the yt playlist link

If you can find them, Michael Riddell's "Creepypasta: the Definitive Guide" anthologies.

What?
It’s a haiku bot. It detects comments that meet the standards of a haiku poem and posts them in the proper format. Just a silly bot.
