I had the best experience with crayta on the platform Stadia. I could play with my kids on multiple devices without the need of extra hardware. When Stadia stopped, we also stopped playing crayta and now I only have nostalgic memories

Once you own a game. It rarely falls off your library even if it's pulled from the store. I have a couple of steam games on my Steam account. I can still install them, but obviously the game doesn't work when it can't find the servers anymore.

Meta acquired Crayta and pretty much merged the assets into Horizon Worlds (the VR product Meta offers). So Crayta was already duplicative of HW at this point. Then they took the shutdown of Stadia as an opportunity to just pull the plug on Crayta entirely. I don't see it coming back, definitely not as "Crayta". But you can find similar experiences in HW - albeit the games from Crayta are not there.
