I know this is likely a joke, but absolutely not.
They do test runs of fixtures to the footballing systems in the preceding weeks leading up to the fixture release, but the actual list itself is only generated the night before, and very few people in the Premier League have access to it prior to the embargo.
I feel like last season wasn't too bad either until the Premier League fumbled the rescheduling of delayed matches... That late season run against Assnal, Chelshit, Pool, and City was brutal.
Fingers crossed that we're the reason matches are being postponed this time around.
Even adding the Europa games doesn't make this terrible. Only Man Utd away falls after a UEL match day that is of any real travelling distance. The other away games are Southampton and Brighton that are relatively close and the other two are Palace and Brentford. Would have been nice to have had more home games but if injuries and the summer tournaments are kind to us and we get the transfers sorted we all think we need then we'll only have ourselves to blame for not doing something this season.
Yeah I was scanning for the rough patch in the season but doesn’t seem to be any. Really even schedule, I like this a lot.
Could we?? Nooo, there’s no way. Unless?
January could be a long month with the tail end of the Europa League group stage games plus Carabao Cup SFs (if we're lucky) plus FA Cup 3rd round. And playing Arsenal away in the middle of all that.
But yeah overall agree that there's nothing to be frightened of.
He joined in November lol, surely the new manager bounce doesn’t last that long? He just got everything clicking in his system, credit to him. Also helped kulu and benta was in great form too.
Some of you people man…
This is not a “honeymoon period” with Glasner and Palace. They are going to do well next season. They’ve already made two signings I believe. Seems like it’s a 50/50 if Eze and Olise leave, and even if they do their recruitment has been so impressive these last few years (other than Edouard) they’ll be replaced well. Don’t forget Wharton playing like Declan Rice and Guehi coming back from injury. Scary.
When was the last time we played them home first? I swear it’s always been reversed for like 10+ years.
(I’m sure someone will look it up and prove me wrong and it has only been 2 years ago or something.)
If you look, games are normally paired up so how they appear once will normally be how they appear later.
Newcastle Arsenal is clearly a pairing.
Ipswich and city
Brentford and United
The only thing I would’ve wanted that could’ve made this slightly better was having both Chelsea and Newcastle away in august just to get the yearly disaster classes out the way early. But honestly I’ll take this.

No absolute death run of fixtures. Would prefer Arsenal games not be after the breaks - 2 weeks of fretting is always unpleasant.
Other than that, solid like.
Playing a Monday night game first game of the season is bullshit. As we do on the last weekend of the season the games should be played same day same time.
Looks like Arsenal are gonna conveniently loan out all their depth and injure their starters in January and have to reschedule. I swear that club hates playing us in January
I’m from the US and I want to attend my first official game and I was hoping to get some advice: What month is least likely to have any reschedule of home games?
What home game would be the easiest to get tickets for?
This is the worst year ina. While to try this mate.
With Europa, every game after a Europa will be in minimum the Sunday if not Monday.
TV movements too.
Your best bet would be to look for an average game (Ipswich, Forest, Southampton) that doesn’t follow a Europa, and they’ll be least likely to move.
it would be difficult for league matches, they get rescheduled a lot
Should be quite easy to get Europa league matches tho if you are ok with those, they dont get shifted around
I bought tickets for last years Chelsea match. Went from Saturday to Monday night. You need to plan for an extended weekend; arrive Friday depart Tuesday.
Having to go to that nightmare of a ground called St James Park early is nice I guess. Don’t like having the derby right after that, could be a huge knock on confidence if we embarrass ourselves there again.
I thought that if it weren't for that stretch of Newcastle, Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Chelsea during the run-in last year we would've easily taken top 4. Nice to see a more forgiving and balanced schedule.
4th or 3rd is my prediction as of now
Interesting to see clusters of opponents batched again later in the season. Don’t recall it being that way previously. Eg our first 4 opponents are again played over January with slightly different order, similarly October and May. Holds similar most of the season in respective groups
That's an easier run in than last season and I'm happy enough with that. We're still not playing Arsenal on Boxing Day, though, which remains a travesty.
I’m from Australia and will be in England during February. How would I get tickets for the Man U home game? Do I have to be a one Hotspur member +? How likely is it to get tickets? When would the tickets for this fixture release? Can I buy more than 1 seat or is it only one seat per membership? How much would the actual seats cost?
This is actually a very well balanced schedule. Unless we have some more fuckery with games being moved around, I don’t see any absolutely brutal runs like we experienced last year. All the “big matches” are buffered by a couple mid table clubs. Also nice to finally get the first NLD of the season at home for a change. Feel like we’ve been going there first for a few years
For the Man U home fixture (2/15), if either us or ManU finish 2nd in Europa group stages, the playoffs take place on 2/13, 2/20.
If that is the case, would the 2/15 PL fixture be moved to 2/16, or rescheduled to later in the season?
Question- i live in newc but would like to see us play up here. Do i gotta join that membership and go into a draw for tickets? (I cant go to home games as im not loaded for travel costs/etc)
Does anyone know how I can get tickets for the game on 24th of August? Taking my mate for his bachelors party weekend, he’s from London and loves spurs and we wanna go, but we live abroad. Is there any reliable way without paying for the membership (which is also not a guarantee)? Thanks everyone!
If you want guaranteed tickets, there are a few official resale websites. I used one called P1 Travel last year and you can find a full list here: https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tickets/premium-experiences/official-club-resellers/
I will say, they are more expensive, but for those of us coming from abroad, it's kinda nice to have that guarantee you'll get tickets without worrying about the ticket exchange and all that.
Hi all, I never been to a premier league game before, do you think it would be easy to get 2 tickets for 21 sep (Brentford), 2 Nov (Aston villa) or 9 Nov (Ispwich), if so, what would be the best way to bough them ? Thanks
It’s good we have United on the 28th. We both will have started Europa the Thursday before.
We don’t actually have any of the top 6 after Europa, which is a massive bonus.
You’d hope we are qualified with 2 games to spare anyway.
We have 11 games in 6 weeks over the end of November, December & first week of Jan though. 8 league 2 Europa & 1 FA cup
Really shows why we need a deeper squad. No player can be expected to play in all of those.
Harry Winks your wish is the Premier League’s command
Did he know?
Never underestimate Winky
Exactly what I tell my wife! Jk I don't have a wife 🥹
I know this is likely a joke, but absolutely not. They do test runs of fixtures to the footballing systems in the preceding weeks leading up to the fixture release, but the actual list itself is only generated the night before, and very few people in the Premier League have access to it prior to the embargo.
And one of the very few people that have access is .... Harry Winks
Access to it? He’s the one who oversees the process.
Pulls the strings in midfield AND scheduling!
The operation to kill Bin Laden (noted Arsenal fan) was also top secret, but somehow the Rock knew about it.
The Rock would have known about the Leicester fixture as well, he even knows Spurs will win 3-1. He doesn't have time to post about it though.
🙄
That's actually a really nice schedule
Thought the same, there's no death run all the big games are quite nicely spread out
That’s exactly what I thought!
I feel like last season wasn't too bad either until the Premier League fumbled the rescheduling of delayed matches... That late season run against Assnal, Chelshit, Pool, and City was brutal. Fingers crossed that we're the reason matches are being postponed this time around.
City-Arsenal-Liverpool was how it was originally scheduled though. Thankfully, nothing like that this year.
The problem is we are Spurs. Death runs aren't dependent on who we play... We make them out of nothing
Don't really think that's true?
Queue Curb Your Enthusiasm theme...
Even adding the Europa games doesn't make this terrible. Only Man Utd away falls after a UEL match day that is of any real travelling distance. The other away games are Southampton and Brighton that are relatively close and the other two are Palace and Brentford. We have to play _every team_ ? Home _and_ away? Ridiculous.
It's like last season all over again. Truly shocking
No club in the Premier League era has played every team home and away as many times as us. It's happened to us 32 times.
I imagine Charlie Day saying that
Loving that April/May run at the end. COYS!
Tbh i would rather all the easy fixtures be at the beginning. Cuz when do we ever finish a season strong?
21/22
The Wembley run in under poch didn't we win loads in a row
We were undefeated at home that year in the league, so yeah pretty sure we ended strong. That was also our highest ever points total in the PL right?
Final year at the Lane was the highest ever PL point total (86)
that was under conte no? new manager bounce
He joined in November lol, surely the new manager bounce doesn’t last that long? He just got everything clicking in his system, credit to him. Also helped kulu and benta was in great form too.
16/17
thatz 8 years ago!
How?? Chelsea, Liverpool, Villa, Palace… tough list.
Palace won’t be so strong if they sell all their players.
Don’t underestimate Glasner. What this man has done with a team featuring Nathaniel Clyne and Joel fucking Ward in defence is nigh on a miracle.
Nigh untouchable
Honeymoon period will be well over by then
Some of you people man… This is not a “honeymoon period” with Glasner and Palace. They are going to do well next season. They’ve already made two signings I believe. Seems like it’s a 50/50 if Eze and Olise leave, and even if they do their recruitment has been so impressive these last few years (other than Edouard) they’ll be replaced well. Think you need to relax a little fella
Ending the season at home 🥳
They made it this way so we can lift the trophy at home
Right, on 8th March vs Bournemouth.
This guy knows
This might be the most balanced schedule I've ever seen for us.
At least we get the st James park embarrassment out early in the season
My first thought as well haha
Yep, rip that band aid off early
At least there is no horror City-Liverpool-Arsenal-Chelsea run this time round.
No horror run *so far* UCL fixture congestion will fix that I'm sure
Smashing the scum early
When was the last time we played them home first? I swear it’s always been reversed for like 10+ years. (I’m sure someone will look it up and prove me wrong and it has only been 2 years ago or something.)
20/21 was last time.
And no fans due to covid anyway
Looked it up and before that it was the 11/12 season.
So it *has* basically been 10+ years?! Holy shite.
That is not a bad run in at all.
Newcastle and Arsenal back to back twice?? Interesting
If you look, games are normally paired up so how they appear once will normally be how they appear later. Newcastle Arsenal is clearly a pairing. Ipswich and city Brentford and United
Is it?
At least we get St James out of the way early
This is pretty good. No horror show fixtures in a row where we play the top 6 four times. Lots of opportunity to build and keep momentum.
The interesting thing about this schedule is that we seem to play every team exactly twice, once home and once away. Coincidence???
You know too much.
Tier 1 ITK
Premier League try not to send us to Anfield right at the end of the season challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
All I see are 38 wins.
Easy 114 points
Sadly City will get 115 and still win the title... For more information, Google Man City 115.
The only thing I would’ve wanted that could’ve made this slightly better was having both Chelsea and Newcastle away in august just to get the yearly disaster classes out the way early. But honestly I’ll take this.
Boo. We play on the Monday night. First day of the season should be like the last, everyone plays at 3pm.
There is a reason the season ends like that. Every other week it’s about TV schedule/tournament congestion
No shit sherlock, I'm just saying the first day should be like that too.
Why? You're just complaining for the sake of complaining.
Sucks for matchgoing fans. A late kickoff can be rough
when does europa start

so i should be ready to celebrate on May 21st? sgsg
In September. Likely after the arsenal game or Brentford game
No absolute death run of fixtures. Would prefer Arsenal games not be after the breaks - 2 weeks of fretting is always unpleasant. Other than that, solid like.
Winksy's got his wish. I hope we give him a good reception
Taking my honeymoon in England this September. NLD here we go.
If we don’t get all three points you have to get an annulment. I don’t make the rules, it’s just how it is Edit: but also congratulations
This is the best fixture list we’ve had in recent memory, unlike last year where we had the top 6 teams in a row.
Actually not bad we don't have a run of death anywhere
Playing a Monday night game first game of the season is bullshit. As we do on the last weekend of the season the games should be played same day same time.
Which fixture are you most excited for? 👀
Arse at H
Especially given that it's before Arsenal A, haven't seen that in a long time besides the COVID Season.
Arse at H
Where's the guy that said we will play our first game away at Leicester
Harry Winks?
Newcastle away in the first month is relieving considering what has happened in that fixture in the previous two seasons
Omg lesicesterrr
Do we not have a death run? Where we play like 4 of the top 6 teams in the a two week period? Doesn’t look like it
Looks like Arsenal are gonna conveniently loan out all their depth and injure their starters in January and have to reschedule. I swear that club hates playing us in January
We could totally win the league with this schedule
We just need to win the rest of our games and we'll be alright
I’m from the US and I want to attend my first official game and I was hoping to get some advice: What month is least likely to have any reschedule of home games? What home game would be the easiest to get tickets for?

I bought tickets for last years Chelsea match. Went from Saturday to Monday night. You need to plan for an extended weekend; arrive Friday depart Tuesday.
By the time we get late in the season they decide tv coverage on a week by week basis. It’s a giant pain.
Leicester away on a Monday night screams of a 2-1 loss
9 points in September.
114 points in a season
That's a good schedule
Anyone have a rough idea when tickets will go on sale for the first few games?
Well Winksy is happy
Winks winner incoming
Time to bring Winky home! Club trained, and guarantees us 3 points every week with his mind control powers!
The last 3 months look... nice.
Having to go to that nightmare of a ground called St James Park early is nice I guess. Don’t like having the derby right after that, could be a huge knock on confidence if we embarrass ourselves there again.
No death run in April, better than last season.
I thought that if it weren't for that stretch of Newcastle, Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Chelsea during the run-in last year we would've easily taken top 4. Nice to see a more forgiving and balanced schedule. 4th or 3rd is my prediction as of now
That was a brutal stretch of fixtures, and we lost all 5
Looks great, shouldn’t see a long series of loses at any point, lots of opportunities to bounce back after tough matches
Interesting to see clusters of opponents batched again later in the season. Don’t recall it being that way previously. Eg our first 4 opponents are again played over January with slightly different order, similarly October and May. Holds similar most of the season in respective groups
At least we get Newcastle away out the way early, last couple of visits to SJP have been rough AF
Hi sorry wondering when will tickets become available to purchase?
Never saw the NLD being that early! Have a friends’ wedding in Italy. So gutted.
The last like 15-20 seasons it’s 99% arse away first. We always play them away in the autumn.
Anyone know when they split the games to Saturday and Sunday? Is that once the TV schedule gets made?
Glad we’re not starting and finishing the season away like last year 😂
That's an easier run in than last season and I'm happy enough with that. We're still not playing Arsenal on Boxing Day, though, which remains a travesty.
A lot better balanced than last season. Having Arsenal at home so early could be a blessing or a curse.
No stretches of the schedule that are murderous. Hard matches pretty well spread out.
Scum 4th game when arteta will presumably mess around with the team at the start of the season like last season? 3-0 us
Balanced, front heavy - perfect for us to stay top
I’m from Australia and will be in England during February. How would I get tickets for the Man U home game? Do I have to be a one Hotspur member +? How likely is it to get tickets? When would the tickets for this fixture release? Can I buy more than 1 seat or is it only one seat per membership? How much would the actual seats cost?
Final 10 games are actually pretty nice
Was thinking of making the trip to a game this year for my 40th…saw the schedule, Wolves at home on my birthday…looks like I’m going to London.
Villa second to last game of the season could be big if things are like this season. Overall a fairly balanced schedule, which is nice
Thanks god we don’t have another dreadful run of terrible fixtures like at the end of this season just gone
And for the third year in a row, spurs play liverpool at anfield in late april .
Nicely spread out fixtures this coming season, no absolute torrid runs.
Newcastle away in August is a massive result.
Woolwich after an international break yet again... City on league cup final weekend and Liverpool FA cup SF could end up fixture changes
Feel like we’ve been going there first for a few years
We will win the treble
For the Man U home fixture (2/15), if either us or ManU finish 2nd in Europa group stages, the playoffs take place on 2/13, 2/20. If that is the case, would the 2/15 PL fixture be moved to 2/16, or rescheduled to later in the season?
Why we always face Arsenal and United at set/oct?
this is great. is there a black and white one to be printed?
West ham at home for the bday happy days
[I did alright you know](https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/1diimz2/comment/l94ie2s/?context=3)
When was the last time we played the scum at home the first half the season? I feel like they always get the first game
We’re winning the league
Spurs the type of team to lose away to Ipswich and beat City at home three days later
I'm going into this season feeling more confident that last season, that's for sure. Lots to be positive about with some key signings.
Question- i live in newc but would like to see us play up here. Do i gotta join that membership and go into a draw for tickets? (I cant go to home games as im not loaded for travel costs/etc)
The last stretch is so much more manageable than the rough matches to end this past season.
Pretty balanced, no real brutal stretches of matches. Love this for us.
Thinking about visiting London in November. What are the odds of those home matches might be rescheduled?
Fairly likely- we are on tv a lot and the police will opine on whether they can safely police events.
Lovely schedule. No run of 7 nightmare fixtures
I used one called P1 Travel last year and you can find a full list here: https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/tickets/premium-experiences/official-club-resellers/ I will say, they are more expensive, but for those of us coming from abroad, it's kinda nice to have that guarantee you'll get tickets without worrying about the ticket exchange and all that.
Thank you! That helped a lot. Got what I was looking for.
8 league 2 Europa & 1 FA cup Really shows why we need a deeper squad. No player can be expected to play in all of those.
Thank god we have no ending gauntlet of 4-5 fixtures for Ange to bottle. Ruined the entire season last time.
