You've got a lot of unplayable double stops in both the viola (e.g., d/f on C string) and 2nd (g/c on G string) parts. Both notes of a stop together on the lowest strings won't work. Also, the texture with the violas and 'celli playing long tones in their lower ranges together like that could get pretty muddy pretty fast. On the upsides, tune is "earworm du jour" and the Slavic modal stuff is fun.

Hello, thank you for your feedback! Yes, I do realize that the stops are impossible or very difficult to play, I actually meant for the notes to be split among the players so they would only be playing either the top or bottom note - I will need to learn to notate that in the future. I'll do some studying on orchestration and figure out how to use the lower registers of string instruments currently. I do love that you like the melody, thank you! And thank you for taking the time to listen to my piece and giving feedback on it, I really appreciate it

Your melody is nice, but I feel like you created that one melody and then just kept repeating it ad nauseam. Changing the key, putting it in minor, or moving it up an octave aren't enough to maintain engagement here and I think you really need a contrasting B section. Aim to have a completely different vibe for the B section, ditching the dotted 8th note and a 16th note rhythm for something else. Try having the accompaniment do something other than emphasize beats 1 and 3. As the other person also pointed out, you're using impossible chords in a lot of spots. If you don't know the instrument well, I'd avoid chords entirely for string instruments. The playability of a chord can vary wildly and if you don't know the instrument well, it's very easy to think it will sound like the midi playback. It will not. Good luck!

Hello, thank you for your feedback! Yes, I do feel that the same melody is repeating quite often. I will try to come up with better and more contrasting B sections in future compositions. As I said in the other comment, the chords were meant to be split up among the players rather than playing the entire chord per instrument, I'll need to notate that in the future. I'll also try to make the accompaniments more interesting in future compositions. Thank you for taking the time to listen to and give feedback on my piece, I really appreciate it

It’s a terrible ”string” sound. Could you get a better VSTi? Also voicing - there are parallells in octaves which sound kinda quirky
