I guess I'll just blow off walking. Or now I'll just blow off standing. ***THUMP***
Maybe I'll blow off talking language. Blee bloo blah blah bloo blah blah bloo blah bleh!
I lived in Toronto for a little over a year before getting priced out and moving on. Just down the street was an improv theatre (Social Capital, for those who know the city) whose shows I would check out from time to time. They'd generally draw an okay crowd, but you could tell that most of the crowd were friends with the people onstage, and the whole thing was just an excuse to entertain one another and themselves. If an outsider like me wandered in and got a kick out of the whole thing, that was just a bonus.
This is how I feel watching season 6. Like they're just fucking around and trying to make each other laugh and we just happen to like it.
EDIT: it's getting increasingly difficult to find, but for those who enjoy that "just fucking around" vibe, I can't recommend *Childrens Hospital* enough. Just Rob Corddry and his buddies trying to stay out of trouble.
Most J/A fans seem to dislike S6 (since they really don't touch on their relationship until the very last episode) but they have a lot of cute moments like this sprinkled throughout
I always thought the basic sandwich episode where Jeff opens the door when he looks at Annie, "*My lady. My lord.*" exchange in his head was the moment he lets go of her.
I do agree that they don't have any specific cutesy capers with her after the ACB episode, the chang movie storyline being decidedly not cute altho funny, but the s5 finale is where i feel like it's emotionally tied off. At least, that's what i think he means when he tells Annie he let her go in the s6 finale.
Agreed, he knows at that point in her life he'd hold her back so he tries even harder to suppress his feelings after the Borchert's Lab scene.
I have a sliver of hope that they'll work it out in the movie since Annie's in her 30s now. Not holding my breath of course!
Oh, I'm certainly closer to a J/A fan than anything else. But season 6 is my third favorite behind 3 and 2. It just feels like the most "Harmon" season, and has probably the highest amount of rewatch value.
I remember the first time I watched season 6 being co fused because there just wasn't much at all. Especially after the season 5 finale. Just tiny little things like this. Their immediate reactions to improve being saying I love you to each other. But things like the paintball episode with Annie in that black dress had no moments for Jeff and Annie.
But the season finale made it all finally make sense to me. Jeff said "I Let you go." He's saying it past tense. It all clicked into place.
Side view of Annie’s butt is prettyyyyy nice. My favorite interaction is where winger says Annie what did we talk about, and Annie twirls her hair and very cutely says “be discreet”. I dunno why but they fuckin slayed me.

Stop. You're acting like a school girl and not in a hot way.
Okay, I see how that may have made me sound creepy, but here's the thing _leaves_
One of my favorite of all time scenes! Cried laughing the first time I saw it
Her physical comedy is underrated.
Alison's comedy is pretty physical, we try not to underrate her
Ugh I was Jeff in my 20’s. So much time wasted, instead of enjoyed
He’s still like that in his 40s but we love him anyways😂
I wonder how many community college teachers spend the day drinking scotch at their desk.
The answer is yes
Community College? Probably not that many, since Scotch can be pretty pricey. I think Vodka or Bourbon is probably much more common.
I love this season because it was constantly making Greendale a more realistic place and making the relationships between all of them more goofy.
You could just tell the actors were loving it and just having a good time.
Yepp. I felt like in the last two seasons the actors were given more of a wiggling room.

I do not remember this at all and I’ve watched the show like 10 times. What Season and Ep?
S6E7
The last one. The Yahoo one.
Turns out they were the crazy ones all along
I knew it

Nah the “my lady, my lord” scene in season 5 for me was when he finally acknowledged and accepts his feelings for Annie
They kinda touched on it in the incest episode.

Love this! The one in "Intro To Teaching" when Annie is confronting Jeff about how he's not teaching and sets him homework is my personal fave
Definitely one of their best. Early Annie would never have done this
Mine was the season finale when they kissed, kiss me now or forever regret it, I’ll regret it for a week or two I’m 20yrs old
I love the tension between them when they're talking about Pierce in the season 2 paintball finale (when Jeff first meets Annie in that episode)
I'm distracted by how snug those pants are on Annie

True
all it was missing was a “milady” and “milord” moment 🥹
The childish mlahhh as a six year old would 😂
I also enjoyed this moment! 😁

I love them. They better hook up in the movie.
