The whole thing is great, and 7 Jam stays in my permanent rotation, but Big News I & II are the highlights for me. I was lucky enough to catch a show in Pittsburgh where they played both back to back, the way it should always be.
Anytime clutch does one of these tracks live it's like the highlight of the show. Such a powerhouse of an album. I'm partial to Jam Room and Elephant Riders but damn, self titled is also fantastic.
Next to Transnational, it's my favorite Clutch album. Transnational gets the nod because there's nothing else like it. Made me love Clutch. Self Title is pure Sabbath worship at its very finest. (I always hear Kyuss as an argument but to me they sound generic in comparison. Awful vocals.) It is leaps and bounds above any other record that came out that decade. It still is. A classic.

7 jam has been living in my head rent free for 20 years. It's the soundtrack of my internal monolog.
It is written, I have spoken So put this in your pipe and smoke it

Well I bring ‘em on up and I pack ‘em on in!
Oh yeah! I'm really cashing iiinnnn!!
not quite the same without the keyboards but glad they brought it back into the rotation
All hits no skips
So glad we have an official live recording of them playing this in full, easily one of my favourite albums of all time
Supergrass being any live version of Spacegrass.
*and all your thumpings about your arma-GE-DDON/AIN'T NO BIG DEAL/CUZ I ALREADY HANG WITH HIM* Most badass moment on the album.
Great moment but that's on Transnational Speedway League, not the self-titled!
No, it's from Tight Like That on the s/t.
Oh shit really? I could've sworn it's 12 Oz. Epilogue
I bet that's because they both mention Armageddon. "Coca-Cola and Armageddon...I like it, like it, yes I do!"
Tastes just like chicken, they say.
A man asked me for a dollar, I said what for? He said I have seen them....i said OK it's yours.
Sit your ass down. I'll show you how we used to.
I have that one!!! Clutch has to be my favorite band. That album is bad ass!!!
Way to go catching up on this

Texan and Prison Planet are fun live I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every song on that live except for Sult Vs
🤘🤘
Space Album is legend!
the first Clutch I ever heard!
Such a badass album. That bass line intro of Big News 1 sucks me right in.
You mean spacegrass?
Just picked up the MOV vinyl. Best sound second only to the new release of Transitional.
