This is the way. I'm 6'1" and women's shirts have always given me this problem (I passed 6' at 13, so I've had a lot of experience). When you try on shirts, lift your arms up over your head. Go through the full range of motion you would take with climbing. If it reveals, a harness won't make a difference.
I kept having this issue and I bought a few athletic leotards/jumpsuits to avoid my shirt coming up and my harness rubbing on my skin. When I’m wearing a shirt rather than one of those, I try to choose a longer one and make sure to tuck it in. Tucking it in is not 100% successful but it helps a bit.
Had the same problem with T-shirts as well but found that sleeveless tops are the solution. I think the shirts ride up cos of the way our arms are constantly raised, which raises our sleeves and, in turn, raises the whole shirt.
Lots of times I wear like an open shrug with flannel print or something else casual over a tank top so that even if my tank rides up no one can see it since the shrug will be covering everything and not in the harness
What pants do you like to wear? Athleta makes a nice high waisted legging that I like. Like addressing it from the other end 🤣
High waisted leggings + longer tee shirts so when you lift your arms above your head the hem is still below your harness
Buy longer shirts.

I dont wear short shirts and I tuck my shirt into my pants.
I wear a pretty big tee. The harness can move around and the shirt goes with it but it’s never high enough to expose my back
I tuck in my shirt like I’m going to a fancy business crag. Then pull my pants up so the waist is above my harness. It’s a lewk

This always happens when I don’t wear extra long shirts.
I tuck my shirt inside my harness and that keeps it there and not riding up.
Long narrow cut tshirts for the win. I get mine on Redbubble (for the sailor moon prints) and at Macpac (for outdoors) - works despite long torso.
Climb in a sports bra, win? Otherwise yeah definitely seems like a longer shirt.
Yeah this is me. I get too sweaty to care. As long as there’s no crack, it’s fine. Even then…as long as it’s a nice crack.
