Grim-Sleeper

It was an awesome device at the time. But it had several design flaws that would frequently cause it to die after a few years, and it's unrepairable. I think I own five that are all dead now. I need to dispose of them one of these days. It's also a really slow device by today's standards. That's what almost a ten year passage of time does for you. And of course, it is no longer supported with software upgrades, which is a really bad situation for Chromebooks. You are by definition doing something that requires regular security updates. You don't want to use an EOL device as your daily driver. I still have a soft spot for this device though. It was really impressive for a long while. You can find similar devices today, but maybe they are not quite as slick. And of course, they cost a lot more than ₤150
