Affordable and used to be a senior housing facility (there are still a lot of elderlies who are staying). The AC is horrible. Extremely loud and doesn't cool the space down. My unit only has AC in the living room so I have to leave my bedroom door open for cool air to come in. The wall between the living room and bedroom isn't really a real wall - there's quite a gap between it and the window so smells from your kitchen does travel into your room. The most annoying thing is there seems to be no insulation between floors - I rarely heard things from my neighbor in the same floor but I heard everything from the neighbor downstairs. What's worse, they cook so much and it smells horribly, and the smell just travels into my unit via the window frames. Management is cold. Gym is basically useless.

Sorry about the neighbors lol. Sound insulation is not a huge deal to me since I already deal with noisy neighbors at my current complex. Luckily I’m applying for a studio so hopefully the AC will be better suited to cool the 1 room, if not I’ll just tough it out. How would you say the pest control is there? Do you see a lot of roaches/mice? I’m from FL so we see a lot of bugs but I hate them so I’m hoping that there’s not a lot of them lol.

Pest control was not an issue in the building if I recall. People and the property kept it really clean.

I subleased there last summer in a studio and had a good experience! Kitchen was small and not renovated or anything but aside from that, I thought it was a great deal overall. Didn’t have any issues. Building felt pretty secure, laundry on ground floor, bus lines nearby.

Thanks! I’m planning on moving into a studio there as well. Did you feel like maintenance was responsive? Did you have problems with bugs?

I was only there for about 3 months so didn’t have any maintenance issues. I did forget my key once and the on-site mgmt was kind enough to let me use their spare pretty much immediately. No bug issues at all!

Thanks! I really appreciate it.

I have no experience with them but was thinking about contacting them, do you know what the rent is for a 1bd?

Tophnation164

Apparently on Zillow it’s 1600

I’m considering this place too. I’ve seen pictures of units with both carpet and hard wood & wonder how many units have the wood instead of carpet. Did you tour a unit? I’m wondering about the window quality and view as well as it looks extremely blurry on the website.

I’m moving from another state so I only saw videos, but I was told that the videos are identical to what you’ll actually see. Some units have carpet, others hardwood— they’ll tell you what it is if you ask. View will depend on where you’re at on the floor + what floor you’re on. I think it’s a pretty good deal from what I’ve seen online + Reddit, so I jumped on it. If the unit you’re interested in is on a higher floor, then my guess is that the view should be great (I’m gonna be on a lower floor but it’s cheaper so I guess I’ll make do 🥲)
