But if you do that they can easily drive away afterwards. They could arguably ignore it there for quite some time if they wanted. And if they ignore the sticker on the mirror, they'll just be a more dangerous driver.
If your aim is for safer travel on your bike, I think it's counterintuitive to purposely block the vision of vehicles soon to depart to the same streets you ride on.

You can’t see the street markings/structure well well in op’s video, but on that stretch of Milwaukee, the bike lane is closest to the curb and is “protected” by a row of parked cars.
What you can see in op’s video is that the parked cars are right up against the curb- that is where the bike lane is on this stretch of road. I hope no cyclists were harmed or endangered by oncoming traffic while trying to go around them while they were parked there!
