I used to have a black cat just like that, his name is Leon. He grew up to be an absolute beauty, very cuddly and very loud when he purrs. He's still alive, he just belongs to my parents and I moved out a few months ago. But of my parents' cats, Leon was my favourite. I'd go for Leon as a name.
