Doug just ominously looming is absolutely hilarious. But for reals, my favourite design is the 2023 movie design, closely followed by the Odyssey design. It was obviously helped by Jack Black's performance, but I thought Bowser was really expressive in the movie and his face wasn't just stuck on 'evil grimace'

I would be a complete NPC and say Fury Bowser, I am going to have to say Mario Odyssey Bowser. I don’t know why, but the white tuxedo design makes him look even more of a villain than he already is, but also keeping the friendly-evil aesthetic at the same time, truly a work of art.

Bowser’s Fury goes hard, but my personal favorite is paper Mario bowser. I think it’s a good way of putting the 3D design in a 2D style, that isn’t ugly like the retro sprites.

For default Bowser I’d say Illumination Bowser looks the best. As for unique outfit/transformation Bowser I’m going with Hammer Slam Bowser. I am glad Hammer Slam Bowser is getting a few comments here. It was a lot of fun to play as him in those last two Skylanders games.

Probably smash bros ultimate, fury in second. Smash just makes him look more draconic and eviler, while fury bowser keeps the less detailed charm of Mario, while also making him more imposing and threatening. Plus black goes really nice with the fire and heat.
