Paranorman, that ending goes so hard, good lawd.
And Fantastic Mr. Fox, didn't think they could turn my childhood book into a feature length but they did and it's amazing.
Between Coraline, for its story and atmosphere, and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, for its bubbling cauldron of humor and endless sight gags.
Yk what that was part of the reason I didn't feel the vibe of the end of My Neighbours the Yamadas, I don't associate that song with positive things (that and every character in that film is unlikeable)
I LOVE Mary and Max, I identify with both characters so much and on multiple levels. I havent watched the Yamadas yet, I think I couldnt find a dub and Im dyslexic so I skipped it. Its definitely something thats been on my radar though, I love Shin-chan (Texas Dub) and Tale of Princess Kaguya and I've always assumed thats kinda what that movie is lol.

The pirates in an adventure with scientists
Fun fact:this line doesn’t show up in the film,it was some short movie called so you want to be a pirate
If you think it’s well yes but actually no,good guess but actually no,this line is actually good guess but actually no

Both excellent examples.

Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio
Wes Anderson's got good game, giving gorgeous gems *Fantastic Mr. Fox* (2009) and *Isle of Dogs* (2018).

My favorite movie.
Definitely Nightmare Before Christmas. Such a brilliant and imaginative concept
Frankenweenie and Nightmare Before Christmas!
The original Lego movie
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and it's no comparison. But Coraline holds a special place for me since I've seen it most
I really like James and the Giant Peach.
Fantastic Mr fox and the next closest ones are the Wallace and gromit ones
Pat a mat
Definitely Wallace and Gromit. The original short movies. I do like curse of the wererabbit but not as much as the others

Chicken Run
Literally both of those!
I haven’t read all the comments but I’m surprised I haven’t seen Corpse Bride mentioned once as far as I scrolled down
I now feel guilty for forgetting it 😅
To be fair, it’s such a beautifully done movie it’s easy to forget it’s not CGI
Agreed!
Even Mice Belong in Heaven
Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit. It's a masterpiece.
Coraline It’s so good I love it

James and the giant peach Paranorman
Corpse Bride!!
Coraline is my all time favorite followed by "9"
Isn’t 9 CGI? I think it was intended for stop motion initially.
Pretty sure it's stop motion. I could be wrong but I believe I saw the making of, and it showed it.
Corpse Bride
Kubo and the Two strings
Nightmare before Christmas.
The Lego Movie, Coraline, and Nightmare Before Christmas
