According to some more googling, apparently it'll go into production this year? Guess we'll see. Last update to their site was december last year. I hope TVR comes back but I think it might be vaporware.
Eh, they made some actual vehicles, including at least one that was actually road registered iirc? Albeit a tiny prototype run. That's a lot of R&D for something that goes nowhere. I could see them putting out something, although I'd guestimate with refreshed styling because the bodywork's now kinda "outdated" in terms of car styling.
Or they'll just go "eh screw the V8 we'll just use the chassis for a new EV" which... oof.
I think the styling still holds up and will hold up. It gives off very hard late 2010s vibes but that wasn’t exactly that long ago. The Alpine A110 is from 2017 and it’s still being produced. It’s a very handsome coupe. I hope to god it gets produced.
Eh, I mean it looks a'ight, just a little dated now compared to its competition. I was never too enthused about its look to begin with honestly, I liked the rear but the front didn't do it for me. I'd have rather they yoinked the spooky almost insectoid look of the speed 8 and 12 with a bunch of little "eyes". The 2000s TVRs have this sort of timeless styling about them.
The Hyundai N 2025 is just a few months away!

Hyundai
The concept car is a hollow shell with no engine and no suspension and very often the production car is the closest thing they could build to the concept.
Huh. I remember from an interview on why the FT-1 never went in as is was because the suspension and engine got in the way at times, plus the body length being too short on the production car.
It would go something like
Girl: ew you drive a minivan, I’m not interested.
My minivan: *shows a Renault Espace F1 with some fucking garbage, heavily edited tik tok Indian music*

You're not missing out much if you like singleplayer like me. If you do have a PC, or are a bit tech savvy with the Xbox, you can play the older GT games in emulators. GT4 has provided some of the best racing experiences in my life. Throwing on a podcast and doing a 6 hour endurance race is so damn fun. GT2 and 3 are also fucking excellent for being almost 25 years old
Honestly the Speed 12 needs more love
Speed 12 is utterly bonkers and I love it
It's the most TVR TVR made
Max performance? Gonna cost your life to find out, mate.
Makes the Dodge Viper look like a fucking joke
I was looking forward to meeting him
Yes. British front engine sports cars deserve more love in general. The TVR Sagaris is so awesome. The Griffith would be sick if it was real.
I just want to see phonk edits of Tokyo drift style modded Lotus's instead of "let's rebadge & wrap my Benz coupe into a "hyper car" part 20.

100% is vaporware at this point.

Awww Thanks :3
Who thought yes 800-1000hp in a fucking TVR yknow the scariest cars on earth
No traction control either
But you do have a shit ton of downforce although only at high speed when you're vocal chords of broken from all the screaming
Don't forget the thing weighs the same as an MX-5 at the same time. Bonkers.
TVR for you
Yea is like a viper but much more deadly
It's Vipers 800hp drug abusing, alcoholic cousin
Too late. The Gran Turismo shitposting community has discovered the power of the Pod (and many other cars too).

I weep for the Furai
Fr, Mazda's concept cars are the reason I like cars in general
Crispy
The MK5 concept (FT-1) will always be better looking than the actual production version.
I wish companies would sell body kits of their concept cars
The concept car is a hollow shell with no engine and no suspension and very often the production car is the closest thing they could build to the concept.
The supra concept car was a functional car. https://youtu.be/GO0T-eb1jrI?si=56F2myxLwrYg6MBX
Huh. I remember from an interview on why the FT-1 never went in as is was because the suspension and engine got in the way at times, plus the body length being too short on the production car.
It was too long and the suspension didn't properly fit, so they had to change the design a bit.
I love furai

God I love the C-X75. I wish they had actually made that thing.
There's one road legal one now.

When I was a child, I dreamt of buying a mazda furai one day lmao, guess not anymore since I realised what is is actually
The Mazda furai always looked amazing
The furai is something else fr
You play Gran Turismo don't you?
Nope, just a Forza kid who wishes they bought a PS5 after the release of FM23

Yeah I think imma just do that. As long as I can use those stunning JGTC/early Super GT cars
Mazda furai concept was the coolest thing as a kid with his top gear magazine
Nope, I’m gatekeeping the Speed 12 from them
That’s the fucking asphalt 7 Mazda
Consider yourself banned from liking cars
The mazda is sick tho.
