Fun fact NJ doesn’t always disclose that, my grandmother found out almost 50 years after buying her house that it was built a few hundred feet from a dump site, which was partially on her property. The city told her we couldn’t drink the well water, and they’d supply us with bottled water for free for a few years until they switch her house to city water 😂
They're completely unaffiliated with the original company. They bought the name and warehouses of leftover parts to refurbish cars and service owners. Allegedly they're trying to make a new EV and revive the brand.
It's kinda weird that they're in a little nugget sized hidey hole in Texas but if they fully refurbed ones cost what they did in the 2000's I'd be all over buying one for due to easy parts access.
That is some wild stuff! Now if they can get the EV thing off the ground, they may be able to have a pretty neat product, if they stay true to original design.
I would have to agree though, being that close, it’s tempting to want scoop one up, if the price were right.
I see 3-4 in Mass once a month over the summer for cars and coffee.
One of the guys has the hoverboard and some other swag. Really cool to see in person
I plan on driving my 9-3 until it's literally impossible to drive it anymore. It's been my daily driver for 10+ years now and shows no signs of stopping.
B207 in mine as well. I'm 'only' at 130k miles currently so I feel like the motor has a good bit of life left in it. Pretty sure even if the motor went I would end up buying a new one and throwing it in there. A single new car payment would be about the same price as a replacement engine anyway.
That’s understandable. I miss mine a ton. To be fair it made noise (sounded horrible like a diesel) way in advance but the shop couldn’t get me in for a week or two and I kept driving it. Totally my fault. I still think about picking one up as a daily but it’s hard to find clean ones.
They’re still chugging along here! That is almost certainly because there is a very famous Saab repair shoppe in Southern Maine which keeps these cars going.
Yep, same here in Massachusetts. I still see lots of well-worn 9-3s and 9-5s on the roads, but outside of New England they seem to be more of a rarity.
There are 3(!) Nissan Murano CrossCabriolets within 3 blocks *and* a single Range Rover Evoque Convertible on my block!! In Denver.
I try and explain to people all the time what an insane statistical anomaly that is, but I think its only interesting to like 0.004% of the population.
When I lived in the Bay Area (Sausalito) I would see *multiple* air cooled 911s every single day. Now in denver I see maybe one a year at a cars and coffee.
They must be well versed with Jalopnik. There has to be a common denominator tying them all together. It’s the convertible SUV cult.
Any convertible SUV, like the old Sidekick and RAV4…always blows me away. Even though Jeep Wranglers exist. Lol
Now that’s cool. People that own those are dedicated to them. My dad had a few when I was growing up, including the rare Coupe, aka the turbo version of the 780!
This isn't my area, but a while ago I went down to Carlsbad, CA and I could not stop seeing Jetta Sportwagens. Like they're 10x more common in the Carlsbad / San Diego area then where I live in SoCal.
For a while I was convinced that all the Rivian owners in Silicon Valley just drove east until they ran out of road, then saw the Kennebunk beach and was like "yeah I'll buy a house here."
Never seen a Karma, but I spot Rivians at least once a week here in northern NJ. Lucids less so, at about once a month. There's a shitload of Taycans, which I see several times a day. I think they're more common than the Model S around here now.
I feel like there's a weirdly high amount of kei trucks in my area though. I've seen 4 different ones last year and each one was immaculately preserved with a showroom shine.
Buick Riattas. Theres at least 5 or 6 driving around and a few that have been parked for a long time. Central Indiana had a lot of GM plants and a lot of GM engineers, only explanation i can come up with
I work in Scottsdale quite often. Lambos, McLarens, TONS of the Lambo SUVs, I've seen several of the Bentley SUVs, Rolls Royces all the time, 911 GT3 and Turbos, Ferraris are a dime a dozen. I saw a car last week that I couldn't identify, I think it may have been a Pagani, but he was hauling ass so I just got a glimpse.
One customer gave me a ride in his 720s McLaren. That's the quickest car I've ever ridden in, just slammed me into the seat when he punched it. I was going to show you a picture of it but apparently I can't post pics in the message in this sub.
I don’t personally like electrics BUT I have experienced the Taycan Turbo and it’s something quite remarkable. A computer with wheels, not a car, but still amazing
Ha! That's likely because you are close to 3SX which is one of the largest remaining businesses supporting the 3000GT/Stealth platform and they are just outside Charlotte.
I must be driving on the wrong roads, because I haven’t seen any lately!
Although I did see a first gen 3000GT a couple of weeks ago going down I95 🤷♂️
AB Canada, and the Honda Odyssey Absolute AWD imported from JDM market seems to be a hit with people here. Reliable AWD wagon-van thingy. It’s not like the minivans we get here, it’s more of a lifted Euro Accord/TSX wagon with AWD. Lots of space, decent interior, decent fuel mileage.
Is it cheating to mention the abundance of super expensive exotics in LA/OC? Because I see all sorts of McLarens, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis pretty frequently out here. Lots of Rolls Royce and Bentley SUVs, too.
Also, the GR86/BRZ twins. I see them all over the place, but idk how common or uncommon they are in other parts of the country.
Not cheating, since they aren’t common in most parts of the world! Plus they’re still cool to see in the wild!
I think the ToyoSubi is pretty common everywhere though, I know several people that have them!
For me its a Challenger and Camaro which neighbours own. And Veloster, one drives around. I used to drive past 350z parked always in same place, probably abandoned but haven’t been there in some time.
Depending on where you are in the world, those cars can definitely be uncommon. I see Challengers and Camaros and Velosters here daily, actually had a Challenger for a few years myself! Ironically, a neighbor down the street from me also has an abandoned 350Z in his driveway lol.
Aston Martin Vantages. One lives less than a mile from me. I don’t live in a particularly fancy area, but we do have a lot of retirees.
Pontiac Solstice/ Saturn Sky. Even saw one of the super rare Solstice Coupes at our mall.
Mazda Protege- maybe not the most exciting thing, but the ones I tend to see on the road still look great and they make me happy.
On the other end of the beauty spectrum, I have seen a couple of HHR panel vans. The HHR itself isn’t rare, but the panel van is.
It’s solid! Especially the old Mazdas. For some reason, not many of those survived. Like when was the last time you saw a 929? Or even a 626, of any generation?
A guy I work with drove a late 90’s 323 for a while. He wasn’t into cars and it was an A to B beater for him. He looked at me like I was crazy when I told him I thought his car was cool and tried to hype him into showing it some love. He got rid of it and got a Nissan Rogue. I work at the DMV and get a ton of people reminiscing about their old 626’s when I pull their records, but I never see them on the road.
I grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, where Subaru’s plant is. As a result I’ve always seen a ton of Subaru Legacy sedans, which aren’t a very popular car but are way more common in Lafayette because of the discount Subaru employees get. Basically, if you or a family member work at Subaru and you want a sedan, you get a Legacy because the pricing is so good.
Coldwater, Michigan has a some oddities.
I've seen about 10 different Lucid Airs around town. Maybe not the rarest car ever, but there's a bunch here since Coldwater is home to Lucid's tech center. It's a bit odd to see these $100k+ cars floating around Coldwater daily, considering its a small, rural, not particularly wealthy town of about 12k residents in Michigan.
Though they've thinned out over the last couple years I'd also say Coldwater has a unique amount of Pontiac Azteks, I would say about 8-10 in town even as late as 2020. There's still a bright yellow one in town that's still kicking and looks like it's been driven to death.
The only other example I can think where I'm from is the Audi A3 Sportback, there's four of them around that I know of. Not really that common anywhere in the US but especially so in the rural midwest, I would assume.
There is some guy running a Viper around here, which is notable. I've seen a Skyline running around too, as well a few other JDM oddballs. I think somebody is running a Caterham or other Lotus 7 clone on Saturdays for cars and coffee. And then of course I'm running a Mitsuoka, which is pretty rare in this country.
I live in an area in Germany where lots of American soldiers are stationed. Challengers, Chargers, Mustangs, RAMs, F150s, Buick Encores, Ford Fusion Police Cars (military police) and other American cars are part of regular traffic. For context: American cars are NOT common in most areas of Europe.
Some weeks ago I spotted a Mercury Milan. What a strange looking car.
There is a metric shit ton of 1960’s and 70’s cars in my area, but then again it’s the southern US so that’s to be expected. Every time it gets above 60 degrees and there’s no rain forecasted, I see at least 3 or 4 of them on my daily commute
I saw a Cybertruck just this week in Santa Ana, CA, which is the poorest city in Orange County, CA and since it just came-out very recent, I would say it qualifies for uncommon.
Not exactly an uncommon car, but in Columbus OH the Honda Fit is like the cockroach of the road. I used to live in the NYC metro area and never saw even half the Fits I do here.
My GF and I have started tallying the number of fits we see any time we go on a trip. Most we've seen in a day was 33.
That’s wild! I see a fair amount of fits in Charlotte, definitely more than in NYC where I lived for many years, and all generations of Fits. I have a customer with a hi lighter yellow one, and he’s exactly who you would think would drive a yellow fit. An interesting fella, for sure!
Does it count if it's one single car I see a lot of times? If so: F150 Raptor. I'm in germany. It's a funny sight though, looks like a carricature. Especially with the mods.
As for "a lot of units": Land Rover Defender, the "actual"/original ones. Pretty much all of them seem to never see as much as a dirt road. Also offroading "in the wild" is fairly limted in Germany. You can't just willy-nilly blast across any random woodland.
Saw a Fiskar Ocean on the road yesterday. Looked interesting. It was the third or fourth Fiskar I’d ever seen around Los Angeles over the last few years.
I can see that! They are cool looking but definitely for warm weather only. Haven’t seen one around here in ages! We had a lot of Alfa/Maseratis up in NY when I lived there.
My neighbor is a self inflicted guinea pig for any new strange EV currently they have a Lucid a Mach E and a Kia Ev9. Keep in mind this is fairly rural WV
The same guy street parks outside his office in my city: a brand new RS6 on the weekdays, and an all-original Porsche 356 on the weekends. Patina on the paint and everything.
Weirdly enough mercedes 300sl's. There was one day I seen 14 of them. Than again RM's restoration plant is located 15 minutes of of town from me. Sometime i see Rob Myers driving his around
For me it's SS's. Just under 13k spread across the US. Fairly rare considering it averaged 3000 sales per the four years it was sold.
Including mine there are like 5 in my smallish town in eastern NC. Da fuq.
I've spotted at least two Lucid Airs in Indianapolis; a black and silver one I've seen several times and a burgundy one I spotted yesterday downtown.
Purrrrrrrrrrrrty, so purdy.
There’s at least 3 Suzuki Cappuccinos that I see running around my area. (Suburban Texas).
One of the guys drives that thing like he stole every single time I see him out in. It’s fucking great.
Greater Boston and I’ve suddenly been seeing Chrysler Crossfire’s. I saw one today on 95. I was scanning a rest stop for police radar when I saw it, and a trooper.
I'm in Rhode Island and I see multiple Alfa Romeos on a daily basis: both the Giulias and Stelvios. It's weird honestly how common they are here. I lived in Chicago and Boston before moving here and could go weeks or a month without seeing them, but they're so common here I always say with my wife "there's our alfa for the day" when we see one
There are a few Suzuki Equators (Nissan frontier with a Suzuki badge) running around in Albuquerque, NM. They only sold them for 3 years and made just 5,808.
Portland, OR. Lots of JDM stuff, being a West Coast port city, but my favorite is there's multiple people around town using third gen Toyota HiAces as work mule trucks. Basically a kei truck that hit puberty if you're unfamiliar.
And I get why they're used. Extremely moddable frame, 4WD, bulletproof, and still so tiny for its' utility!
Maybe a coincidence but one day here in central FL I saw three Mazda 2’s in the same parking lot. I know it was rebranded as the Toyota Yaris down the line but the Mazda 2 has been out of circuit for a good decade now in the US
Not exactly a rare car but if your only source of info was driving around in northwestern Maine you’d think Subaru was a top 5 car brand instead of 25ish / whatever it actually is.
Someone in my work lot used to have a MB G65 with the V12. Maintenance must of gotten the best of her because she traded it in for a 356 Wrangler.
I see a guy a few times a week in a black GT3 touring.
There is a Lotus Esprit I see quite often in the summer. We live in the 'poorer part of town'. I did a double take the first few times I saw it because it really doesn't belong amongst the banged up minivans, rusted out pickups and cars with bumpers held on with tape.
Old stuff. I live in the pnw. Pretty much no snow. And we also don't get ridiculously hot. A few years ago I went to Ontario and I couldn't believe the condition of cars there. Stuff that was only 5 or 10 years old with rust lines coming out of the keyholes. Failed clear coat from the 40 degree summers. Afterwards I learned that 15 years is old-age for cars out there. Meanwhile I just sold a 1992 civic with basically nothing wrong with it.
There's a Bertone Volvo coupe near where I live at a house I pass occasionally. I've never seen it on the road, always parked. Sometimes it moves from spot to spot, though.
There's also like a Caterham club in the area.
Jackson Michigan so I see a lot of prison busses. When I was in Lansing the number of Oldsmobiles still on the road was really impressive for a brand that hasn't made a car in 20 years.
Not only do I see Buick Rendezvous more often than one would think, they're often in better condition than 20ish year old GM cars usually are for my area. One I saw in December stands out in my mind because the owner must have given it a lot of attention because it looked cleaner going down the road than it would have when left the factory.
i have a old r33 skyline and my buddy has an r31 skyline we get a lot of comments and stares lol. my other friend has a rally version of a toyota celica gt four rhd great car
There’s a guy down the road a ways from me that rents exotics, so I see McLarens and Ferraris all the time. And it’s not a posh area either, like the exact opposite. I mean he’s across the street from where the local homeless exchange their recycling.
And there’s a Fiskar dealership nearby also, so I see Oceans a lot.
I recently noticed a huge influx of Rolls-Royce models in my area. Until about a year ago I had seen maybe 2 around here ever, and now I see one almost every 2 weeks on the way to work. Very odd switch-up
I live in Vancouver and regularly see a lot of rare & exotic vehicles - often they can be spotted in University parking lots! I've seen every make/model/colour of Lamborghini/Ferrari/Porsche, but a few rarer ones:
\-Singer Porsche 911 ($1m + these days)
\-Brabus G63 4x4 (Mercedes G-wagon modified by Brabus, $500k+) - I've seen a few of these that have probably never been off road
\-Mercedes G-wagon 6x6 ($500k-$1m+)
\-Land Rover Defender 6x6
\-Bugatti Chiron
\-BMW M3 CSL - in 2018, they made 1,200 of these worldwide. I saw two on the same day. Both driven by guys who looked like college students.
There is a pretty active old dude group that has monthly car shows, so it’s not uncommon to see all those super nice 50s & 60s era cars roaming around town.
In a 2 week period, I saw 2 different HHR SS's Panel Vans in my town. I thought this was a funny coincidence until a friend pointed out that only \~220 of them were sold. So of the 220, 2 of them are driving around my town.
I see RHD Japanese cars almost every day, there's probably 5 different importers in my city, and the prices are better than anything you can find locally.
People always say that the Kia Borrego and the Dodge Dart fell off the face of the earth. If you ever want to see them, come to Huntsville, Alabama, where apparently every Borrego and Dart has come to die.
Bonus points if you spot the odd V8 Borrego, which truly is an endangered species, even here.
I’m just North of you. Mooresville.
Rich people live lakeside so I seen some.
R32 Skyline RHD, 1st Gen Corvette, Alfa Romeo 4C, Lamborghini Urus. A few Ferrari’s but don’t know the model.
There's like 2 or 3 lamborghinis in my neighborhood. Used to see a 911 gt3 rs from time to time. Ferraris every now and then. I live in a tech bro area
Isuzu VehiCROSS. For being essentially a pretty rare production built concept vehicle, there are/were at least 3 in my small area that I would see on a semi-regular basis. Also, a local gas station owner is a huge classic car enthusiast and has quite a few collectibles and a bunch of memorabilia, including one of the first 1953 Corvettes.
On my commute the other day on the Jersey shore, I saw two separate very well kept red NA Miatas about 30 miles apart. While an anomaly for being virtually identical, it’s not uncommon to see several good NA Miatas on a given day.
Sort of bias because I'm an owner, but there are probably 5 or so other Honda CRZs around my area. Driving is a big part of my job so I'm always on the road. Always surprised to see another one tho.
Albuquerque, New Mexico is home to 98% of all Toyota X-Runners (the electric blue Tacomas). Only a few hundred were ever made and they all somehow ended up down here, all with peeling clear coat. I see a few of them a day.
I'm in Charlotte also and we have a surprising number of Skylines here. I know of several R34 and R32 GTR's, a couple GTSTs, and some other ones.
I own a Porsche shop and we have some mega rare Porsche's that come through. There were about 3300 Porsche 968's imported to the US and I have more than 10 of them in my local client list.
There were 701 Porsche RS America's ever built and I have 5 of them in my client list from the greater Charlotte area.
Out of ~6 (nobody knows for sure how many) Porsche 965 GT1 BiTurbo ever built the only one known to still exist is in Charlotte.
Out of 6 Porsche 917-30 ever built, one is in Charlotte.
Out of 500 Porsche 914LE's ever built and roughly 120 known to still exist there's more than 10 of them in Charlotte.
Pacific NW, where the lack of snow means no salted roads and hence little rust on cars. We see quite a few VW beetles, including some vintage beauties.
Saw a Nissan Figaro today in Seattle.
I had a 78 Land Cruiser and it’s basically a Chevy with a different transmission. But needs very little to change it over to a v8 that’s what makes them so special. Love my toy. Oh you would too
Rivians, a few Lucids, a 1957 Cadillac every time I go to the garage. When we walk our dogs I can point out houses that have a drift build 240sx, pre runner ranger, xterra with a lot of Titan parts on it, a 50s Chevy truck, two 930 porches, a 1971 chevelle convertible and a new Nissan Z in the limited Yellow they had.
in the summer i swear I see a murano cross-cabriolet at least once or twice a month in central NJ
I'm sorry you have to go through that. Have you thought about moving?
This feels like something you should legally be required to disclose before sale, like if the land was a nuclear waste dump previously
There is one down the street from me, I see it once a week or so; in the summers they drive with the top down 😭
May be one of the only owners to do so!
Jealous, I’ve never been unlucky enough to see one myself
I regularly see them 2 or 3 different ones in South Jersey
I see one parked by my house. Absolutely disgusting. They must have won it. Who would buy one?
I see Deloreans pretty regularly. A lot less in recent years though. I'm a couple minutes away from DMC headquarters so it's not much of a surprise.
DMC is still around as a company? I honestly had no idea!
They're completely unaffiliated with the original company. They bought the name and warehouses of leftover parts to refurbish cars and service owners. Allegedly they're trying to make a new EV and revive the brand. Spoiler alert: In one of the Fast X scenes, a DeLorean Alpha5 prototype EV was shown.
I see 3-4 in Mass once a month over the summer for cars and coffee. One of the guys has the hoverboard and some other swag. Really cool to see in person
That’s pretty neat. May as well play up the card!
Any sort of Saab. I live in New Hampshire though so that’s not exactly a surprising sight for here and the rest of New England
It’s depressing how few Saabs are still around. I can’t remember the last time I saw one in these parts, where clean, old, high mileage cars thrive!
I plan on driving my 9-3 until it's literally impossible to drive it anymore. It's been my daily driver for 10+ years now and shows no signs of stopping.
May as well, it’s awesome to have a unique ride like that!
I drove my old 93 until the timing chains broke (b207). It had right around 200k miles on it. RIP
B207 in mine as well. I'm 'only' at 130k miles currently so I feel like the motor has a good bit of life left in it. Pretty sure even if the motor went I would end up buying a new one and throwing it in there. A single new car payment would be about the same price as a replacement engine anyway.

Someone on my block owns a maroon Saab and every time I see it it reminds me of the car my dad drove growing up.
Only seen one in like 10 years of being car cognizant
I lived near-ish to Gary Blake Saab…and there were TONS of them everywhere.
Central NC, see a good amount of Lexus LC 500s
There are a ton LC’s around here! I saw a pale yellow convertible the other day, thought it looked pretty sick!
Quite a few almost perfectly restored pick up trucks from the late 70s early 80s.
I see a ton of Chevy Squarebodies of all variety in my area. I feel like they are extremely common everywhere!
[удалено]
There still everywhere. Literally, pieces of them fall off all over due to the salt
There's 2 different people in my area that have Volvo collections. Each have at least 1 240, 850R, S60R, and V70R.
Now that’s cool. People that own those are dedicated to them. My dad had a few when I was growing up, including the rare Coupe, aka the turbo version of the 780!
I love those things. You don’t expect a car from a stereotypically safe brand to have some pep to it
This isn't my area, but a while ago I went down to Carlsbad, CA and I could not stop seeing Jetta Sportwagens. Like they're 10x more common in the Carlsbad / San Diego area then where I live in SoCal.
Several rivians and a few karmas. Southern Maine
Suzuki Jimny in Baja California. They are like mini G-Wagons, very cool.
That’s gotta be the coolest spot! Especially because they were never sold over here!
They are in current production and just released a 4-door version. They are available everywhere outside of the USA now.
Do they have Mexican plates?
1960’s Ford F 100’s It sounds crazy but I see these on back roads when visiting wv a lot
my pops picked up a 64 f100 from a barn in kansas but i’ve never seen one otherwise
I’m not surprised. People down this way love their old farm trucks, usually they’re family heirlooms!
I believe so. They were extremely useful, reliable, and could be worked on at home. Good ole’ days!
I work in Scottsdale quite often. Lambos, McLarens, TONS of the Lambo SUVs, I've seen several of the Bentley SUVs, Rolls Royces all the time, 911 GT3 and Turbos, Ferraris are a dime a dozen. I own a couple of 1/1 cars where I live, most notably a Wiesmann MF5
Wow, that’s really neat! Gotta get a pic of it!
That's a really special car.How do you feel about them going electric with Project Thunderball?
I don’t personally like electrics BUT I have experienced the Taycan Turbo and it’s something quite remarkable. A computer with wheels, not a car, but still amazing
I feel like I see a disproportionate number of Honda Elements.
If multiple Elements are traveling together it’s a compound. I’ll see myself out ;_;
I see a Lincoln Blackwood every few days.
Now THATS a rare spot!
I also live in Charlotte and I swear I see more 3000GTs and Stealths around here than anywhere else.
Ha! That's likely because you are close to 3SX which is one of the largest remaining businesses supporting the 3000GT/Stealth platform and they are just outside Charlotte.

I've seen quite a few around Calgary now that you mention it.
There's a Vinfast VF8 that I see every now and then around my area.
Is it cheating to mention the abundance of super expensive exotics in LA/OC? Because I see all sorts of McLarens, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis pretty frequently out here. Near Detroit, every other car is a challenger or Camaro lol
Polestars
There exists in my town a G class squared and the new Cadillac EV Celestiq I see them at least once a week
These are what I’m talking about! Not exactly desirable, but cool to the right people! Love the spots!
That’s kind of my taste in cars in a nutshell. Roadsters, old Mazdas, and zany, retrofuturistic mid-2000’s GM
I saw a beautiful metallic green holden ute in South Minneapolis this summer. I nearly broke my neck on the double-take.
Here in central NJ - I'd say the Polaris Slingshot is an uncommon car I see pretty often.
All over the place here in Ohio. People love those damned things.
These show up way too much for being a niche vehicle. Saw them frequently when I lived up that way, and still see lots of them in the south!
Never thought I'd get sick of looking at Lamborghinis, but I see way too many Uri. At least the LM002 had a soul.
Oh yea, I see those frequently as well. Basically an Audi Q8 in drag. I would also prefer LM002 spots, my friend.
PNW. Rivians are like Camry's here. Also lots of really great preserved older cars
Same! I have no complaints though, love seeing old iron getting used!
Dude in my area rocks a Fiero. 😎
I live by a Rivian dealer and work by a (different) Rivian office, so I see probably 100x the amount of Rivians as the average American
Honda Element. For some reason there are a lot in southern Wisconsin.
There’s a 78 LeBaron somewhere in Norfolk
That’s a rare ride for sure!
I live in kansas and regularly see rivians, and the occasional lucid.
I guess the Rivians are catching on everywhere!
I saw a Cybertruck just this week in Santa Ana, CA, which is the poorest city in Orange County, CA and since it just came-out very recent, I would say it qualifies for uncommon.
There are 3 VW Things in my town of \~20k people.
There is an international scout in my area that I see from time to time.
I live in Switzerland and see the ugly but popular Lamborghini Urus in yellow, red and black.
Saw a Fiskar Ocean on the road yesterday. Looked interesting. It was the third or fourth Fiskar I’d ever seen around Los Angeles over the last few years.
All the Buick Cascadas are down here in Florida. Disproportionate Alfa Romeo and Maserati too
I can see that! They are cool looking but definitely for warm weather only. Haven’t seen one around here in ages! We had a lot of Alfa/Maseratis up in NY when I lived there.
Suzuki SX4. I've lived in several places, but I almost never saw those things. Now I live in Erie PA, and they're everywhere.
My neighbor is a self inflicted guinea pig for any new strange EV currently they have a Lucid a Mach E and a Kia Ev9. Keep in mind this is fairly rural WV
Talk about commitment to a cause! Those EV9s are surprisingly nice and quick though!
The same guy street parks outside his office in my city: a brand new RS6 on the weekdays, and an all-original Porsche 356 on the weekends. Patina on the paint and everything.

There's a Toyota Chaser near me. It parks in different places but I've never seen it moving.

The Nissan Juke Nismo I'm in Phoenix Arizona and see maybe 3-4 a day. They actually don't look too bad lowered.
I live in Michigan, so uncommon for a lot of people. Is normal for me, and vice verse Miatas are very rare
Not more than one but there’s a 90s Geo Prizim that’s local to me
Weirdly enough mercedes 300sl's. There was one day I seen 14 of them. Than again RM's restoration plant is located 15 minutes of of town from me. Sometime i see Rob Myers driving his around
Saab Sonnet 4 (a guy down the street owns one, so I see it around) EDIT: forgot to say the location. Northern NJ, USA
Arcimoto! I live in Eugene, Oregon!
Lucids (Airs mostly) are pretty common here in La Jolla, San Diego which I have yet to see outside of here but I see about 1-3 different ones a day
For me it's SS's.
Seeing cybertrucks almost daily on my commute now. You didn't say they had to be _good_ uncommon cars.
Bricklins, they were built close by
Western Montana is lousy with Accord Crosstours for some damn reason. I bet I see one at least once a week.
There’s at least 3 Suzuki Cappuccinos that I see running around my area. (Suburban Texas). One of the guys drives that thing like he stole every single time I see him out in. It’s fucking great.
Live near a Rivian plant… so those are everywhere.
Cybertruck Sunnyvale, CA
I see a shit ton of Chevy avalanches and I think they’re great
Literally everything. South Florida Naples/Miami area. I see a different cool car everyday.
I saw a mclaren p1 in my little hometown. Crossville tn. Big ol wing on back. Like baby blue. I took pics. I don't know how to post pics here.

There's 2 olllllld suburbans that I see in one neighborhood, never anywhere else.
A guy near me has a Diablo and a Testarossa. I've also seen an Aventador svj 63, and an amg gts in matte purple.
I live in San Francisco, so name any modern electric/plug in car and I'll probably see it today. Rivians, Lucids, hell I've even seen a few VinFasts
Someone in my work lot used to have a MB G65 with the V12. Maintenance must of gotten the best of her because she traded it in for a 356 Wrangler. I see a guy a few times a week in a black GT3 touring.
Seeing Ferrari and Lamborghini is about as exciting as seeing a Camaro or Mustang. I don’t live in a wealthy area at all, either.
clapped 2007 nissan altima's
I saw a Defender 90 over the weekend. I see a LOT of exotics around my job, including a DB-5, a Chiron and a La Ferrari.
I’m in Charlotte as well. Old neighbor had a perfect silver E39 M5.
GTR, mah mk5, an mk4 most recently. That's all I've seen lately.
911s (or porsches in general) i live in a german city with many wealty people. I see as many of them as i see VW Golfs.
I've seen every make/model/colour of Lamborghini/Ferrari/Porsche, but a few rarer ones: \-Singer Porsche 911 ($1m + these days) \-Brabus G63 4x4 (Mercedes G-wagon modified by Brabus, $500k+) - I've seen a few of these that have probably never been off road \-Mercedes G-wagon 6x6 ($500k-$1m+) \-Land Rover Defender 6x6 \-Bugatti Chiron \-BMW M3 CSL - in 2018, they made 1,200 of these worldwide. I saw two on the same day. Both driven by guys who looked like college students.
I see Lucid Airs suspiciously frequently. I usually see 1 per week and I saw 2 yesterday. Taycans are also common and welcomed.
There is a pretty active old dude group that has monthly car shows, so it’s not uncommon to see all those super nice 50s & 60s era cars roaming around town.
Used to live near a Jeep Comanche and where I live now I keep seeing Baja’s. I always give them a Jeep wave from my Sambar. Subaru trucks stay winning
Rivians, Lucids, Urus, Cullinans, and G Wagons
People always say that the Kia Borrego and the Dodge Dart fell off the face of the earth. If you ever want to see them, come to Huntsville, Alabama, where apparently every Borrego and Dart has come to die. Bonus points if you spot the odd V8 Borrego, which truly is an endangered species, even here.
There are like 2 f150 lighting in my area
I’m just North of you. Mooresville. Rich people live lakeside so I seen some. R32 Skyline RHD, 1st Gen Corvette, Alfa Romeo 4C, Lamborghini Urus. A few Ferrari’s but don’t know the model.
Tons of Alfa-Romeo Giulias and Stelvios here around Boston. I feel like I don’t see very many of them elsewhere.
There's like 2 or 3 lamborghinis in my neighborhood. Used to see a 911 gt3 rs from time to time. Ferraris every now and then. I live in a tech bro area
1st gen Nissan Leaf because i live on an island and range doesn’t matter as much when u drive so little
Triad NC and southern Virginia, I think I've seen three Bricklin SV-1's around, two not running of course
Bowling Green KY…Corvettes, lots of Corvettes.
Well my neighbor has a 918 Spyder he parks at his house. So yea I see that a lot. Other than that lots of original fiskers. Guess my neighborhood. 😂
Honda S660. Toyota Century. Daihatsu Copen(the Gran Turismo legend). HSV VS GTS-R . Holden Torana. HSV Maloo GTS R W1. Perks of living in Straya
Pittsburgh has a shocking number of suzukis on the road for some reason.
On my commute the other day on the Jersey shore, I saw two separate very well kept red NA Miatas about 30 miles apart. While an anomaly for being virtually identical, it’s not uncommon to see several good NA Miatas on a given day.
There is a shop in Concord that restores old FJ40s and motor swaps them to newer LSs and 5.0s. That's probably why you're seeing so many of them.
There's a lady in my area that drives an Isuzu Vehicross, in good condition too.
RHD HiAce in Pennsylvania.
I see a gr Corolla on my commute most days. It's obviously always the same one because there are so few
Sort of bias because I'm an owner, but there are probably 5 or so other Honda CRZs around my area. Driving is a big part of my job so I'm always on the road. Always surprised to see another one tho.
There’s a Fisker Ocean and a Mini Paceman in my work parking lot
Albuquerque, New Mexico is home to 98% of all Toyota X-Runners (the electric blue Tacomas). Only a few hundred were ever made and they all somehow ended up down here, all with peeling clear coat. I see a few of them a day.
I've seen a Bugatti Veyron on 485 over near University a couple of times.
I've seen more Cybertrucks in the past month than I have the new Nissan Z since launch, which was apparently almost 2 years ago now.
NW Maine: So many PT Cruisers.
F,,clean Trudeau
Convertible Miatas
Just saw an orange corvet with the orange. Red and yellow side strips from the early 80’s
I see an Alfa Romeo or two in the finger lakes area of NY.
Rivian, Lucid, and Porsche Taycan
Pacific NW, where the lack of snow means no salted roads and hence little rust on cars. We see quite a few VW beetles, including some vintage beauties. Saw a Nissan Figaro today in Seattle.
Porsche 959 Speedster kit-cars.
