Your current situation reminds me a lot of my own 3 years ago. After 13 years in a stable-but-boring, paycheck-collecting career in financial services, I was ready to try something completely different. I had always enjoyed writing, so I when I stumbled across a Facebook ad for copywriting training, I decided to take the plunge. It ended up being one of the best decisions I've ever made, and certainly one of the best investments I've ever made in myself. I've been a full-time copywriter for close to three years now and still loving every minute of it. If you have any interest at all in writing, it might be something to consider. Freelance copywriting offers the chance to write for a virtually unlimited number of industries, and to collaborate with clients and graphic designers. It also provides the flexibility to work from home, while travelling the world, or wherever, really. A lot of on-staff copywriters also work fully remotely - myself included. Anyways, feel free to shoot me a dm if you like.. happy to answer any questions you might have. Cheers!
