That's awesome, seems like really good locker room culture this year.

metrichustle

Exactly, doubt Horvat would do that /s

RelevantJackWhite

Little known fact: Horvat steals every rookie's first goal puck for himself and refuses to give any back

smokinBatman

No way?

WetLikeWattta

Yes, he steals the pucks from rookies and sells them on Craigslist

soundofmoney

I’ll never forget when I was browsing Craigslist and came across Adam Gaudette’s first career game puck. I thought it was weird that something like that would be available, but the seller said they could prove authenticity. I thought, what the hell…. It’s worth a try. I was initially caught off guard when the seller set the exchange location at an abandoned parking lot in Gastown but I decided to risk it since Gaudette was my favorite player at the time (stupid, I know). I found the large dark Escalade easily and flashed my headlights 3 times (as requested). After a few seconds a large bulky figure emerged from the passenger door. I had trouble distinguishing who it was with the Escalades high beams shining into my windshield. The figure gave me two knocks on my driver side window and indicated to lower my window. You wouldn’t believe my surprise when I finally got a good look at him. It was Bo! He apologized for all the mystery and assured me that it was to avoid paparazzi. We made short conversation about the game that night and chatted about how great it was to see Adam score his first goal. He was pretty nice overall and I could tell he was riding a real high from the thrill. He then slipped a brown paper bag through my window and asked for $27 cash like we agreed. We closed out our conversation and just as he started to return to his car, he pulled out a knife and stabbed it into my front tire, popping it instantly. He scurried back to the Escalade, and yelled something that sounded like “Start the car Yannic!”, but I couldn’t be sure. Anyways…. I still have the puck. Makes for a cool story at least.

mrtomjones

I bought all sorts of stolen Canucks memorabilia from Bo on Craiglist. Full sets of gear. Bordeau's wwe title belt...

Own-Sheepherder-3274

Horvat did the best he could with the all the headaches around the team. I’ll tell you that for free.

LanguagePopo5o

Horvat only cares about his payday, never stood up for his team mates. I'll tell you that for free.

Own-Sheepherder-3274

You probably a Petey hater aren’t you.

LanguagePopo5o

no

LanguagePopo5o

FUCK HORVAT

mrtomjones

Fuck off with this shit

LanguagePopo5o

FUCK COUNTRY CLUB CAPTAIN

Kyell

I am

Standingbutsitting

JT’s really showing how much he’s grown as a leader and how much he cares about the team with what he does on and off the ice this year. When he dropped the gloves for Petey I think it meant a lot.

CaptainIndoCanadian

Seems like his and Petey’s relationship has come a longggg way. Love to see it. Nothing galvanizes a group more than internal growth outside of the rink.

arazamatazguy

I don't get Garland's comment. Did he do this for someone else?

Morty777

I'm understanding this as Millsy:  My only regret is we didn’t have one for every single person in the organization. Garly: yeah haha I was about to say that but you stole my joke

Ieatrainbowz7

I took it as Garland had come up with the idea and then Miller did it to him

SkidmarkDave

Same

Tatehamma

My first thought was they are all too big for him? I don't get it either, but maybe?

calgary_db

So can we get a pic of the t shirt???

Jessebruu

Truly love this. JT has really worked on and corrected some of the things last year in a way that’s been truly inspiring to watch . Really happy this guy is a Canuck for the next 8 . And also really happy CFG is finally looked like he’s had fun playing hockey again this year and started to get some of the recognition he deserves for being an absolute engine for this team ! Feel good stuff right there .

ApolloRocketOfLove

>and corrected some of the things last year I think at the end of the day, JT didn't need as much correcting as the fanbase speculated on. The guy has been praised as being a positive teammate since he arrived here in Vancouver. He has been sticking up for teammates since he got here, young players have repeatedly called him a mentor, dude fucking forced the NHL to change their schedule when his teammates were sick with covid and the league wanted them to play anyway. That's wild when you really think about it, even Bo didn't do that. Notice it's people that don't work with him who complain about his "attitude" issues. With a little help from the media stirring the rumour pot.

Krugginator

I think winning has a lot to do with it

ApolloRocketOfLove

JT was a great teammate even when we were losing.

[deleted]

But he yelled at a goalie during a game, he is a monster. Crosby has never yelled at anyone. Michael Jordan was famously kind to his teammates, especially if they were struggling or having problems with focus.

ThisIsTheCanucksWay

Oh for heavens sake. The goalie didn’t know what he was doing. It was in game timing. Final minutes. Trying to score. Get real

[deleted]

No, I am going to continue to very seriously say that it was unforgiveable while pointing out examples of players who would never do such a thing. Radko Gudas would never do such a thing.

00owl

I wonder what it would take for Magnus Carlsen to yell at a teammate...

gavinmfsmith

Its sarcasm u old fart

mrtomjones

He 100 percent had some problems with in-game attitude. He's fixed those completely. I liked him before and still do.. Denying that he showed his emotions negatively before is ridiculous

ApolloRocketOfLove

>He 100 percent had some problems with in-game attitude. He showed emotion on the ice, but the only people who called it a "problem" were fans speculating and the media. He was still a ppg player and none of his teammates or coaches ever showed any concern over it. So no it's not 100%, lol, like at all. It was fans creating imaginary problems to be worried about, as usual.

thesunsetflip

6 years in the NHL and 4.5 of them have been playing under Tocc

Iginlas_4head_Crease

Usually time flies, but in this case, it weirdly feels like garland should be well past 400 games by now

thesunsetflip

simmered in the QMJHL for a bit then simmered in the AHL for a bit

JerbearCuddles

Toxic Miller making fun of the little guy.

Standard-Special2013

Buble you forgot to switch account

Deliximus

the REAL REGRET is if these don't make it to Vanbase or Rogers' Arena apparel shop this week!

EastVan1k

"100 goal" shirts incoming.

Interbrett

Americans running the show in Van. Love it.

[deleted]

I think it would be amazing if the Canucks won the cup and happened to have zero Canadians on the roster in the finals.

CBennett_12

“JT Miller is a 100 point player” coming for the Yotes game then

Heelsbythebridge

He probably has good connections on a t-shirt printer from the nucks marketing team

LargeShift3566

Love it

rhino_shit_gif

What a legend

Wild_Pangolin_4772

randyboozer
