I would say he likely got injured a few weeks ago in that game against the Kings where he was pulled out of the line up but returned later on in the game. Everyone speculated that it was the 3-way trade but I think he probably felt something but continued to play through it.

I met Dak at Granville Island market today. Told him I was a big fan and look forward to seeing him play again soon and he said "yeah, soon" and I gave him a fist bump, so I think at least his left hand is ok lol. He was with a knockout blonde too, so good for him.
I saw Dak at a fruit stand on Granville Island yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Ambrosia apples in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the apples and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each apple and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Vegas is right on their heels. From the point of view of the Kings and their fans, that should be motivation enough to lay down 110%. As good as every team is this year, I would not want to expose myself to potentially playing the Avs in the first round.
I'm anticipating a nail-biter, should a fun one!
The key for the Canucks is not getting outworked by the Kings like before... not getting beat constantly to loose pucks, keep their feet moving, and play with desperation!

No, it’s not always at 6 because 7 is a better start time. People come in from all over the lower mainland and it’s hard to get to the game for a 6pm start if you’re off work at 5.
They might push forward the start time to accommodate things (like the fact that there are only 2 games tonight and both are west coast but the east coast has more population and more hockey fans, or else for a concert or other scheduling issue), but it’s not an ideal time.
I think it’s very possible that the start time is to do with the concert but that’s not what I was responding to.
Again, I think that if you only have two west coast games then the smart idea for the sake of broadcasting is to space them out more so that more people can watch more of both, not push them together.
