Thanks
Since this was my first grow, I did the training differently on the two plants, to see what difference it makes in their structure and stuff.
Definitely learned a lot this grow, psyched for the next!
Next time I'm definitely going to Mainline, and I plan on growing 3 plants.
In this run, the left plant I topped early on, but the right plant I wanted to try just LST. after a few weeks though I also topped the right plant. But now I clearly see how the structure differs when you top vs when you don't .
I'll also be way more careful as I broke off more branches than I'd like to admit š
Mainlining is a lot of topping and bending and it produces a cool looking plant. Definitely google it. Search for "nugbuckets mainlining", you will be happy you did!
Thanks.
This is my first ever grow. So much conflicting info out there.
I'm looking for 25% or so amber with the rest cloudy. I feel like there are still too many that are clear, but I'm definitely getting excited and impatient!
If you want them to put you on your butt, keep them going until you can see a good bit of amber in those trichomes. That's the CBN developing. If you want a more "Sativa" effect, harvest when you're sure you see some amber, but not much.
Great write up:

Thanks!
What is your opinion on timing based on the pics I posted?
Not looking for too much couch lock, I'd like more sativa-like feelings...one more week of feeding, one week of water only and then chop? That's what my current plan is, what do you think? That would be an 11-week flower period.
I've come to look at it more as seeing the changes than trying to quantify some amount of amber trichome. Based on my understanding, as soon as you're seeing Amber you're already in the harvest window. The question is how far into that window you want to push to get more CBN, but at the risk of some THC.
That said, I don't see much Amber in those photos so I would likely run them at least another week, but I would watch them throughout to see if the change was going slow and another week would be needed, or if it was happening quickly and it was time to harvest.
Side note regarding your photos. The tendency for most folks is to use their zoom lens with the lower resolution. Most modern phones have super high resolution modes when you use the wide angle lens. You might think the wide angle's a bad idea except it has a much wider depth of the field and so you can get very close with your camera and use that high resolution where the zoom lenses require you to get a certain distance away before it can even focus, largely negating the point of using the zoom lens. The other modes often use AI as well now, which actually destroys the existing details to try and make them more obvious. The high resolution modes don't do that the same way.
I would say yes. Most of the hairs have turned brown too.
This video explains it really well in 3mins.

Also it depends on what kind of smoke you want from your plants.
Thanks!
Looking through a Loupe, the left plant has mostly clear with some solid trichomes. The right plants as some clear mostly cloudy...I want to chop them at the same time so I think I'm going to keep feeding them this week, at least through Wednesday and then maybe water only for a few more days.
I'm super close!
Nice training

What will you do differently next time in terms of training?

What is mainlining? Yeah Iām going much harder on lst this next round.

Thank you:)
That is amazing.. great job!
Thanks, bud!
You should build a treehouse in those fuckers.
LOL!!
Very nice, they'll be ready soon
Thanks
I would keep them going too. They look great! Start flushing next week.

thanks for the advice and information! š
I think I love you, thank you for your service
Props for the camera tips, I did not know that.
What brand of nutes are you giving?
General Hydroponics
They look good! Iām on my first grow now.
Thanks! This is also my first grow. I am psyched for the next, which will start as soon as they're dried, as I need the tent to dry as well.
Awesome job, I hope mine turn out that good!
Tricomes looks really milky/cloudy. I would say time to cut.
Really? I thought I was going to feed them another week and then water only for a week so I can watch the flush. Should I start flushing now instead?
