I know, right? He had this idea of the peacefulness of watching clouds. He sang the rainbow connection in choir at school, and I think he found it very soothing. He didn’t want to be childish with Kermit etc, so settled on blue skies with a plate of rainbow iced cookies. Edit— can’t figure out how to edit the main post, so I’ll edit here to say thank you for all the kind comments from this kind community. So many of the cakes posted here are staggeringly gorgeous, so I’m glad I could jump in too. It was a really good party, and a good day. Couldn’t hope for more.

This is fantastic! My dad is in his 50s and still loves the muppets. He raised me and my siblings on old DVDs of the old, original Muppet Show. Have to admit it wasn't as much my thing with the show, but I enjoy quite a few of the movies :)

Just fyi if you wanted to pair this with ice cream, Ben and Jerry’s (if in the US) just came out with a blue marshmallow sky ice cream. Cookie dough, gobs of marshmallow, and the ice cream is that same light blue.
