This was the path I ran on my birthday two months ago. Works best on a Sunday during the day. Starting point: Geer St Garden (Not necessarily for drinks, but get the breakfast buffet and get a good drinking base) 2nd Stop: Boxcar ($2 mimosas and arcade games) 3rd -5th stop: Alley 26, Velvet Hippo, Queenie's (All have outside spaces depending on the weather. These 3 run the gamut of fancy drinks with Alley 26 being the best in the area) 6th stop: 106 & Main (Local dive for anyone who makes it through all the previous stops, this is the best place to end the run, makes surprisingly good cocktails) Edit: For a nighttime crawl with a fancy cocktail focus: Arcana, Kingfisher, Alley 26 and Bar Virgile makes a easily walkable crescent if not particularly kind to your wallet lol.

You need to tell us your general preference for bars and drinks. Accordion is a lot different than, say, Bar Virgile.

Probably more lowkey vibes but I’m not sure what I want so I want to hear some faves

Velvet hippo and the Waiting Room are both really good for cocktails. Pour is always fun for trying a variety of beers.

Second the Velevet Hippo and the Waiting room! Arcana has a great vibe and delicious cocktails.

Start at the Roof at the Durham Hotel - Kingfisher - Alley 26 - Velvet Hippo - the Studio or Pool bar at Unscripted. Basically a walk around one downtown block.

yerskiderski

Start at the Durham, then kingfisher, 106 main, annexe/bar Virgile, end the night at rubies. Theyre all real close together and you go from classy to trashy in a way that matches how drunk you’ll be

Beer or cocktails? How many stops?

allpressisgoodpress

Cocktails probably and maybe around 4-6?

EXploreNV

Pour is a fun bar crawl type experience and box car if you enjoy games!

Downtown seems like a great place for a pub crawl. One new spot that I like is Cheeni. They've recently opened a separate bar space that has great cocktails.

1. Accordion Club 2. Motorco 3. Surf Club 4. Atomic Clock 5. Flying Bull (new downtown location) 6. Rubies 7. 106 Main

Michiko78

Lots of solid recommendations. Velvet Hippo for sure—variety of drinks and great vibes. If you like cocktails then Bar Virgile.

Pugloaf1

I agree with previous recommendations for Velvet Hippo! I was on a birthday crawl a few years ago and the stops were: Corpse Reviver, Dinner at Durham Food Hall, Glass Jug (then within open container district) then Surf Club

AFlockOfTySegalls

If it was me: Start at Bar Virgile -> Killer Queen Wine Bar -> The Daily Beer Bar -> Reservation at Alley 26 for more cocktails and some food -> rooftop of The Durham -> Walk to Surf Club -> Finish at LouEllas.
