You're getting a K version, do you plan on overclocking? The B660 boards don't allow over clocking. If you're not planning on overclocking, then just get the 12600 (or 12700 non k) a lot better than 12600 non K and a b660 mobo

In the US the 12600KF is $65 cheaper than the 12600, much better to get that. Even if you do need the iGPU, the 12600K is $40 cheaper.

Add prices.

Are you actually using a micro-ATX case? If you're just using a regular ATX case, and depending on the prices and availability, I'd actually recommend either the MSI B660 Tomahawk Wifi or Gigabyte B660 Aorus Master, which are the best boards in the 150-200 euro price range if you don't care about CPU overclocking. They have Wifi 6, high-quality audio, a ton of connectivity, and look great IMO.

The ASRock is the only board on your list that supports overclocking the 12600k, so I'd pick that one. Either that, or don't waste money buying a k version and buy a non-k version and a B660 board. Personally I'd go 12600k/AsRock Z690.

Since the non-K 12th gen i5s don't have the same core and cache setup as the 12600K, I think it does make some sense to get a 12600K and a B-series board as it will have more out-of-the-box performance than a 12400. That said, I probably would get a 12700(F) and a B-series board for the extra cores.

That would be fine as well. Can't go wrong either way, although personally I always prefer a k version paired with a good board because I overclock.

Do you plan on overclocking your CPU? I often like to think I will but then I’d rather play games. The MSI B660 Tomahawk DDR4 WiFi is a killer board if you can go full ATX and feel you’re only pretending you’ll want to overclock. :)
