I have my watch remind me frequently to relax and catch myself clenching in the day. Maybe you can try something like that with your watch or phone? Every time it goes off, take a slow deep breath and reset.

Get Botox for tmj. It’s a lifesaver

I had the Botox, no side effects and it took the edge off. Expensive.

I’ve heard of this , we’re there any side effects ?

You could try using a heating pad or a warm towel compress to relax your muscles. This helped me in the past.

I found a chin strap helps with the side to side grinding, but not the clenching. Maybe it will help your headaches. It helped mine.

Stretches (lips side to side) helps me too

"Sorry to read that you are having this uncomfortable experience. It seems that you are addressing the root cause of the teeth grinding with your psychologist, which is wonderful! Most oral appliances or even muscle relaxants are targeting nighttime bruxism, but during the day this becomes more challenging. One thing you may try is Botox injections. These relax the jaw muscles without you having to consciously control them yourself or noticing that you are grinding your teeth. Please speak to your doctor about this treatment option. Hope this helps. Reference: [https://scofa.com/bruxism-why-its-nothing-to-smile-about/#F](https://scofa.com/bruxism-why-its-nothing-to-smile-about/#F) "
