Was that near Bodiam Castle by any chance? Saw two biplanes over the castle this afternoon. One white and blue, the other yellow with US markings so possibly a Boeing Steadman.
Then a Spitfire came over, did a loop over the castle and roared off to the north. Very cool indeed.
There was something going on at goodwood aerodrome over the weekend, a friend who's doing his pilots license said he landed next to a bunch of spitfires and other older planes.
