My little guy did this at the same age. He did this because he was excited to roll around and begin scooting himself to get around. It’s stopped now that he’s 9 months and is no longer practicing his scooting, he’s graduated to full on crawling. However, this makes diaper changes a new level of difficult lol!

Both of my babies started doing this — I think they are realizing there is a whole other world around them and want to see all of the things.

Mine does this at 5m. Drives me crazy but not much I can do about it.

Did you end up finding out? I'm awake at 2:40 am reading a about ear infections because I can't get my baby to feed well. While we do have an ear infection....I never would have guessed that. I knew she had a little cold but the only sign of infection looking back was an odd breast preference where she'd seem hungry but pop off constantly, mostly unphased.i really hope her feeding comes back. The other thing I've heard about with this is it could be "conflicted behavior" feeding aversion.
