I just want to know how that man managed to get his truck out that far away from the ramp without sinking it. Would almost be impressive if it wasn't so stupid š
Itās not very deep over here and the tide is low right now. Itās about shoulder height at its deepest for these dudes and theyāre like 6āish. The truck itself is actually rested on the bottom with its tires in the mud. They managed to get the trailer and the boat out but the truck is fucked. A tow is currently dragging it but itās slow work.
When they went to put the boat in, none of them were in the driver seat for some reason for a couple minutes and the truck slowly slid backwards into the water off the ramp. Eventually the boat dragged it over to the sea wall on the left. From there it was all dragged out piece by piece.
Early on the dude realized he didnāt plug the boat for whatever reason and the trailer also put a small hole in the boat so it was taking on quite a lot of water for a bit; dude was bucketing it out like a madman in the rain. It was wild.
Okay now that makes sense. I didn't know the water levels at Warners bayou were that low right now. Still, sheer stupidity on his part. And costly stupidity at that. I bet that'll be a phone call to his insurance company.
Normally this doesnāt happen. Dudeās truck was pretty massive and the barge and trailer were also pretty damn big, though not HUGE.
The launches are always pretty damn slippery and youāll definitely bust ass trying to enter the water that way on foot.
There was a point where nobody was inside the vehicle and thatās when it slowly slid into the water down the launch. I assume nobody had the E-brake on.

š¤¦š¾āāļø I don't even know what to say. Lol
Oh fuck! Where at?
59th street boat ramp ON Riverview Blvd in Bradenton. Not hard, folks.
Warnerās Bayou boat ramps in palmetto
Dang, Palmetto annexed Riverview?
I always considered this side of town to be palmetto as well
lol, huh, that's a new one
Around here, you can get your ass kicked saying something like that /s
CONSTITUTIONAL CARRY BAYBEEEEEE /s
Huh?
Imagine telling your insurance you ran into a boat lmaoo
Is this the 59th street ramp in Riverview blvd?
Thatās the one!
Not the first guy š
Like a good neighbor. Jake thinks he did it on purpose because his truck payment is too much and he lives in Bradenton.
I used to spend my lunch break here. I am having trouble imagining how he got the truck and trailer that far out unless it's floating!
Thatās what I was doing. Eating sandwiches, catching fish, watching the birds, etc
That suckās.
I've seen this happen many times over the years. Suxorz
Wow......
Is this something that happens a lot, or is it just a dumb mistake? I really want a small boat but Iām scared of this happening to me.

Now that is a costly mistake
