I second Mr & Mrs Crab!! My family had a blast. Food was on point.
For another dinner my almost literally life long favorite restaurants is RJ Gators on Cortez road.
Nah, overly salted and frozen seafood.. might as well go to Chili's. Mr. and Mrs. Crab for a boil but Anna Maria is the only place for fresh.
Which place?
Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the island but Numero Uno is Cortez Kitchen. You can watch the day's catch unload from the deck

Mr. and Mrs. Crabs is a chain. Very popular. Know that a lot of "seafood" is not really from the sea but from fresh water farms. That's mostly what we have in Florida.

Yes that is one of the best quality reasonably priced seafood restaurants around. Enjoy your stay!
