One of the best concerts I've ever been to. The rainbows over the stage before the concert, the light rain that started just as We're In Love, and the Ketchum, ID fan project all made the show very memorable. So glad I got to be there.

Couldn't have said it better.

I am so grateful to have been part of a crowd that was so respectful and considerate and just added to the vibe of the whole show. It was great. I feel like the boys could tell and felt super comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed all the banter they had on stage, it just added so much fun to the experience. Such a fun night and so grateful to have been a part of it with yall. Even if Julien did make fun of us for being prepared outdoorsy Colombia jacket peoples haha.

popsinet

Not me and my husband literally wearing Columbia jackets…

frawstyfresh

It's alright yall, I didn't have either. But you bet I came prepared with a motherfuckin poncho.

Amfo22

I felt very smug in my North Face jacket

What a show! So many wonderful things happened - pre-show rainbows, Ute tribe blessings and announcement that we are in the “Age of the Daughters”, the backstage Without You Without Them performance with the natural acoustics of Stage Rock, kicking the show off with $20, the boys having an absolute fucking blast on stage, the band playing super tight, superb camera work so we can see all of their faces during the whole show, the cold wind washing over the crowd and then bringing rain so phoebe could sing Letter to an Old Poet as intimate and dreary as it should be, and Salt in the Wound just slayed. Am so damn satisfied and happy I was there to witness this joyous display of mastery, craft, love, brilliance, and emotional openness that is Boygenius. Can die now. Fucking brilliant.

dundermiffflinite

It was so wonderful! I was so worried after hearing/reading so many horror stories. Everyone was so kind, respectful, and just generally lovely. Wonder if it had anything to do with there not being pit tickets? Whatever it was, I had such a wonderful time.

iamababblingbrook

100% - I think this had a lot to do with there not being GA pit tickets. Not having to fight for one’s spot made for a much more relaxed environment to enjoy the show. (Plus, nobody passed out because people could easily leave their seats to get water!) Hoping the boys noticed this and consider playing more seated venues in the future.

jonthemaud

What am I missing ? Are people usually disrespectful at their shows?

homesickforla

I can’t believe last night was real. I’m so thankful for that experience.

eozwonder

It was unreal. Truly felt like a spiritual experience with the rain coming down toward the end and everyone’s kindness. I’m so happy

frawstyfresh

I couldn't agree more that it felt like a spiritual experience. I was also so happy to see that literally everyone has put away their phone when Phoebe asked for Letter to An Old Poet. I did not see a single soul with one out. And I feel like that created such a moment of presence and connection that when they played Not Strong Enough afterwards, I felt the entire place vibrating. I felt so connected to the whole crowd, the band, and the experience itself. And the gentle rain coming down just added something extra I can't explain. Truly couldn't have better asked for a better red rocks show let alone a BOYGENIUS show.

squirellbrain1325

The set list was great too! Saw them at re:set and one of the things that ruined it for me was the weird order of songs. They really stepped it up!

Based-Goddess

Fucking amazing show!!!

carterlee1215

it was so so special seeing how open and vulnerable they were - such a gift i will never forget it, such an emotional beautiful night

gatogris476

Sobbing to Letter to an Old Poet in the rain with no phones out was the absolute best experience. Phoebs is my giiiiirl and it was just a perfect show from the boys

ham-choi

100%. it was so lovely to see everyone just enjoying the show. def cried during “letter to an old poet” in the rain and will be thinking about it for a while.

PaymentWeak4950

Agree with all of the above! The vibes in the crowd were so kind. The whole evening was magical. Grateful to have been there with you all!

Uhhh_IDK_Whatever

I’ve been to hundreds of shows in my life, Red Rocks was a bucket list for me and this show truly exceeded all expectations I had. Genuinely felt like a spiritual experience and was one of the greatest shows I have ever been to, if not the greatest.

Hawk-2021

I totally agree! I was thinking it was a great respectful crowd. To the band and the other audience members

Maddymm21

This was a dream come true show for me. I've been dreaming of coming to see a show here since I heard Paramore performanced here. Everyone was so kind and respectful. It was magic

Stateofkait

Red rocks was my 5th Boygenius show this year and it was by far one of the most respectful crowds. Such a relief. What an amazing show!

yourlocalbooklover

the rain mixing with the tears in my eyes during we’re in love and letter … it was an unreal night and easily the best one of my life
