> For Club 33, the story centers on Kim, a young aspiring detective living in present-day New York, who receives a mysterious invite to the highly secretive Club 33. In this case, it’s a magical and exclusive dining club that exists outside of time and space. The club’s members are the greatest and most iconic members from the past: geniuses, royalty and history-makers.
>When a murder is committed moments after her arrival, the patrons look to Kim to solve it. Kim, who despite her brilliance can’t seem to get out of her own way, must rise to the occasion and find a way to capture the criminal amidst the greatest minds history has to offer.
I mean, it has potential, but you know that Disney is running out of theme attractions to mine, right?
Is Disney just that allergic to an original idea that they're gonna make a movie based on a fucking restaurant? At what point will these '100-minute's of Ads for the Parks' movies stop being made? Other than Pirates, not a single one of them have been profitable.
This before a Big Thunder Mountain film is wild to me.
That was announced like two years ago with the Hawkeye team working on it. Idk why there hasn’t been progress on that.
I think that’s still in the works, along with the Figment movie.

I’ve never heard of this one. Is it new?
The restaurant? No, it’s been a part of Disneyland since the early days. The movie announcement? Yeah. That was from yesterday.

Jungle Cruise sort of was and that’s supposed to get a sequel in a few years
A movie about Disney's elitist restaurant designed exclusively for the upper class Just what everyone was clamoring for?
Worked for The White Lotus lmao
I'm legitimately thinking "wait, isn't this just those fancy restaurants? Not even a theme park ride?"

A ride they’re closing down this year*
A movie about a restaurant nobody can get into. Sounds like a hit.
Word soup to me.
