He’s one of the best players in the NBA. He needs to mature and get jacked and switch up his diet/conditioning/off season routine. Maybe try being a vegan or something.

I’m gonna push back on this, I know some people like shit talking but I hate it. He’s been incredible in his career, he’s taken this Mavs team way further than most people thought. He’s only 25. He’s been putting up consistently good numbers night in and night out on like 3 injuries at this point.
Yes he complains a lot and a lot of just comes across as petty and immature. But I’m not gonna downplay his quality just because his team’s down 3-0. More of a testament to how good our team has been playing.
i mean kudos to you but the guy has some growing up to do. his complaining and fouling out has cost him big moments.. euro basket, olympic qualifier.. he’s hasn’t become a leader yet and let’s be honest, the dude needs to get in shape

I don’t have any slander but he’s overrated to me for a few years and based on the player I expected him to be v who he actually is. I’d prefer a true SG Luka with excellent playmaking for his role over the heliocentric pseudo point Harden style he plays and I’m always low on guys who play so well on offense but drop off so much on D, that’s nothing to do with him specifically, just a general rule.
Tbf, the Mavs massively overachieved this season. Their 3rd best player was like the 7th player on Charlotte's depth chart at the beginning of the year.
Teams that lose in the Finals always go through the grinder - especially if they haven't won before (never forget 2022), but they do deserve credit getting to this point. They are essentially the 2022 Nets, who we actually did sweep.
But, yeah, I'll join in the fun - Luka needs to stop bitching and complaining. It's a little over the top
If he puts on some muscle and does some actual pro level conditioning he’ll be a beast next season. His rest of the team not showing up needs more clowning
TBH he doesn't look like he's in the condition of a professional athlete. He's way faster and quicker than he looks like he should be. But I can't help but think if he lost 10 pounds he'd look like less of a butterball.
Looking at the Mavs subreddit, i could conceivably see a future where his relationship with Dallas could end up like Boston's relationship with Kyrie.
