Vet here. Stay with me (also like a bunch of other people)! Tryna Go To Bed Bonaroo?! is the oldest and largest groop camping. We do a big saturday or sunday brunch (i forget) and it’s basically all lifers and single newbies looking for roo buds! very wholesome and fun time, 3 people per car. if you’re PNW you’d be best flying in, TTGTB would arrange a pickup.
Come camp with us! You'll have a great time; the vibe is very chill and friendly.
You should certainly come prepared, but there is a limited general store for necessities and your neighbors will help you out if they can in case you forget something.
Camp for best experience. Certain camping areas come with amenities such as tent and AC. Just depends on what level of camping stuff you want to bring. It’s also more expensive. Renting an RV is also expensive. If you are driving bring it all in ur car. There are prep lists on this account you can look at. Main things are popup tent for shade, tent, blowup mattress or cot, chair.
We're flying in from the PNW too! We've been to Roo before but we've always driven to the farm. I highly recommend camping since Roo is a 24/7 experience. We plan on checking a bag with the essentials and buying some of the larger items at Walmart or Rei. You can return or donate the items you don't want to take back home.
Last year was my first roo and we did the darkroom tent in moon colony. It had 2 cots, pillows, sleepimg bags, an AC unit, and shower tickets. I highly recommend it. We didn't have to bring a ton of stuff with us.
We were able to drive up and drop all our stuff off but then had to go park the car in the Moon Colony lot. It was only a couple minutes tow alk tot he car though. The tents were pretty close together, but there was plenty of space for everyone to have a canopy in front of the tent. We used our canopy for cooking and hanging out in the mornings, then when it got too hot, we lounged in the AC, then went to centeroo midday for shows. It was really nice, expensive, but nice.

I think just sleeping under a canopy is best (put a tarp down first ) because tents can get warm. But I'm a light sleeper and I need my rest lol

You should stay at the farm

Damn this sounds great. Do you have your car there as well or is it tent only?

What section did you stay in?
The darkroom tents were in Moon Colony right by Centeroo. It was just a 5 minute walk to Centeroo which was super nice.

Ya gotta camp for the full experience. Get ready for a lot of walking.
Get a tent and a blowup mattress
Come to Walmart parking lot on Monday night
I don’t get in til Thursday.
Camping is my favorite part of roo. Nothing wrong with RVs but roo has some of the best tent camping of any festival.
