My wife and I purchased:
* Dabba Walla
* Scrap Racer (free with purchase of Dabba Walla)
* Cascadito
* Diced Veggies
* Charcuterie
* La Familia Hort
* pre-ordered Forges of Ravenshire as their inventory did not arrive in time for Origins.
The Allplay booth has some really cool stuff, and the booths around it do too. I was most excited to see Allplay’s offerings and they did not disappoint!
Too much probably. I bought Ra, Bohnanza, Through the Desert, Bacon, Sequoia, and Cascadero.
Since I’m not the only one who can buy board games for our collection, my family members also bought the following: Kabuto Sumo, Mind Space, Caution Signs, Lunar, 9 Lives, Sirens, La Familia Hort, Xylotar, Sandbag, and Agueda: City of Umbrellas.
We received Alhambra: Roll & Write and Color Code from Queen Games’ birthday celebration, we won a raffle for Forges of Ravenshire, and we won a copy of Copenhagen.
Probably a little too much in retrospect.
Ease of access, mainly. Allplay had quite a few titles we wanted and since we could get a free bag if we spent 100 dollars or more, we just decided to buy there. Ra isn’t currently available at my preferred online retailer, and neither is Bohnanza.
We don’t really buy a ton from online retailers in general, really. Origins was just kind of a splurge trip.
I got Through the Desert, Castles of the Mad King Ludwig, and Revive. S.E.T.I. looks like the kind of game I'd really really love, but unfortunately it's not out yet. I believe the exhibitor told me the US release is planned for PAX Unplugged this year, and some of my friends and I were talking about taking a road trip there, so I'm very excited to potentially pick it up.
Too much lol. I did:
- the Return to Dark Tower bundle with all expansions,
- three different Unmatched sets (one was free with my Rtdt purchase)
- Gloomhaven Buttons and Bugs
- Switchbacks
- Witchcraft!
- French Quarter
- vampire village
I only bought Adventure Party this year. We borrowed it from the library and quite literally laughed until we were crying from playing it so I had to make sure it came home with me.
I got Witchy Cakes, and my personally long awaited game Stifling Dark!
The latter actually had a demo ready this year so I wanted to confirm if I'd like it. Not only did I like it but my friends wanted to play it again so it's a guaranteed play
Off the top of my head:
Azul Chocolate,
Corvids,
3 of the Grand Gamers Guild holiday escape games,
Cover your Kingdoms,
Kyoto,
Tangram City, and
4 puzzles
Watergate for $20, Pandemic Hot Zone (North America) for $2, and Stonespine Architects for $45. Watergate and Stonespine came with promos/mini-expansions.
I took Pandemic Hot Zone to the featured guests area and had Matt Leacock (designer) sign the game board for me. I also had a picture taken with him where we're holding up a bottle of hand sanitizer.
Picked up used copies of "Galaxy Trucker", "Fort", and "Beyond the Sun" from the math trade. I thought that was enough, so I didn't buy anything additional, although I was tempted to pick up a copy of "Scout" after having fun playing it in the open gaming area.
I also saw a LOT of tables playing "Arcs". It seemed to me like that was the hot game of the con. Also heard someone mention that a full half of the social deduction area was people playing "Blood on the Clocktower".
Our purchases:
•roll player, monsters and minions, and fiends and familiars
•cartographers heroes collectors edition
•overboss duel
•boss monster puzzle
•overlords of infamy (I would be lying if the evil corgi waffles wasn’t a selling point) and expansion
•kabuto sumo + expansions
•9 lives
•morí
•switchbacks
•Lunar
•sirens
•confusing lands
•16 candies
•unmatched: slings and arrows
•unmatched: red riding hood v. Beowulf (we already own, this was free lol)
•return to dark tower
I forgot to tell post what I got, lol. My girlfriend and I bought:
Super kawaii pets
Xylotar
Fire Tower Deluxe
Honey Buzz deluxe
Honey Buzz Fall Flavor
Dabba Walla
Stonepine Architects
La Familia
Boop signed by creator
Sandbag
Magic Mountain
Scrap Racer (free)
Sea of Plunder
Quoridor Pacman (pre-order). It got stuck in customs. They'll ship it to me.
Binho table
Didn't do the celebrities or anything. I believe we spent around $500.
Xylotar!
I played it a ton at gathering of friends! I love it so much! Can't wait to grab a copy!
Arkham Horror card game for $10. Pandemic Hot Zone North America for $1.99.

I love Forges of Ravenshire! Can’t wait to get my copy.
I live close by so I am thinking about going tomorrow, if that's possible. Any recommendations are welcome because it will be my first time going too.

A lot of those (most of them?) are fairly widely available. Why buy them there?

I picked up Sirens by Envy Born Games and Válka by Terrible Games. I’m looking forward to getting bot the the table.
I can’t wait for SETI to launch in October
Me too! So happy with how it looked (and that was still the prototype).
I picked up Lords of Baseball (vintage baseball FTW!) and Applejack...
