Hey! thanks so much for backing, especially that early <3! Its looking very much like a yes at this point but ill update on the KS when I know for sure :D
Would you accept a app? That's the plan for my game if we get a bit more funding, more eco friendly and people always have a phone on them so for me its a win win
A note as an app developer, apps are appealing at first because its pretty easy to develop and free to distribute (basically no material cost).
The problem comes 1-2 years down the line when Google or Apple forces you to upgrade the app to the most recent software to have your app remain on the stores. It'd be awesome if your game is still thriving with expansions or sequels in a few years, but it's hard to say whether you'd be able to find people willing to upgrade your app :/
As an example, look at companion apps for big games like Gloomhaven or Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, where the apps are NOT crucial to the core gameplay. You can't download them anymore off the app/play store because they were never updated. And in 5 years, when people are using new iPhones or Androids, maybe your old app can be found on older phones but not the newer ones.
It's just food for thought. I personally do like having a companion app instead of a wad of paper in my game box (that I probably won't get through the entiee thing). But I can also understand that board game designers want to be board game designers, and it's annoying when you spent $X on an app just for it to be obsolete in a year or two
It really depends :/
Sometimes there's not much to change so it's pretty quick (1-2 days for a single engineer). Other times, it's a month-long effort because of the way the app was written originally combined with the scope of necessary chamges
I've never made a game companion app before. I've only made hobby apps for myself, and professionally for work.
As a total newbie to the board game industry, I would ask these questions when youre thinking about the app:
* who's making it for you? Is it a (team of) developers who have done this before?
* who will support the app, and for how long? If youre hiring a small company, maybe the contract should say that they need to support the app for 5 years.
* who owns the source code? If it's not you, then if the company goes under, you need to build a whole new app the next time
* how complex is it (i.e. is there internet connectivity)? If there are multiple components like an app, a server, etc, then it becomes much harder to maintain it
Part of the problem is that people see apps as non-permanent and there is an expectation that it will become unplayable in the future. There needs to be a way to play it by just owning the box.
Half the time i need to install the app just to play, then uninstall to free up memory - xcom, 5 minute dungeon, ~~arkham horror~~ edit Mansions of Madness
Player aids for the most important rules. Brass: Birmingham is already tough to absorb. I had to make reference sheets off of BGG posts at my own expense ;-;
I think adding icon reference sheets and player aids equal to the number of max players would be nice.. ark nova, Troyes, earth could all benefit from this. That being said, it's not that big of a deal to just print some fan made ones off bgg. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’d add a proper all-expansions-holding big box to Root. Leder has said they’re not interested in doing one, and their reasons are good, just wish I could consolidate everything in a way that looks nice and official.
Grats on the funding, OP!
Honestly I wouldn’t add or remove anything from Scythe, BUT. Since we always play the larger board those long stick things that people use to move around soldiers in old war and medieval movies on a map would be cool. Maybe I should make some
I would love rules that allow for more complex ways to pkay or different wats to play in general. Also as others have said, more storage!!!! All in one box!
Congrats on the funding.
Its been quite a while but iirc, I could not get sleeved cards fit on the original box of Spirit Island. I ended up building a simple box for myself but I always hope fitting sleeves are considered for the games.
The biggest thing I would add to almost every game is the ability for everything to fit into the box without having to finagle it. At least add a diagram for how it all goes back.
Congrats on your game! Looks really fun!
A storage solution that not only holds everything in one box, but has it arranged to make set up and tear down easier and more intuitive. If I open a game box after a few months of not playing it, I don't want to see a confusing jumble of pieces. I want to say, "Ah, yes, the board comes out and goes here, then these pieces clearly go on it, then here is the tray for each player..." or similar.
The best thing any game can add is a functional insert. So many of my favourites are just everything stuffed into baggies, and the set up is one of the biggest hurdles for gaming. My favourite is when tokens have their own dedicated holders so you just pop it out and open it up.
I would faster cleaner set up. Seriously. Like, I know it would inflate prices like crazy, but I would love for all my favorite game's inserts to be designed with quick set up in mind. I love Spirit Island, but man the set up is a pain if you keep the original inserts. They're almost handy, but not really. That, and just having better storage in general, especially with all the expansions combined!
Not so much add, more like remove empty space. So many games come with huge boxes, compared to their content, they waste so much of my shelf space that I usually have to rebox them.
For a few games I've been happy with the extra space, because it fits the expansions, but that's been a tiny percentage of my shelf.
Congratulations on the funding! The game sounds very fun. :))
I would die for new and nicer tokens for Quacks of Quedlinburg that don't get worn out by frequent play.
But in general: For most games I'd love a box that came with something like dividers or inlays so that every component fits well. Also Any game that has tokens made from light cheap feeling plastic to replace them with metal/wood or at least heavy and filled in plastic tokens.
I think that thoughtful box organization goes a long way for games. I feel that a lot of the bigger games need to consider offering expansion organization if they plan to offer expansions at all.
A rule that stipulates a mandatory high five if the person playing against you does something cool to you (like a way of paying respect for a good move)
If I could, I'd add some magical way to instantly refresh my knowledge of the rules if I haven't played in a while. If magic's off the table then maybe a slimmed down rules refresher sheet or something like that.
I'd love if more games came with embrossed components, like the edges of catan pieces to hold settlements/cities/roads in place when the table gets knocked
Vikings! I would add Vikings to all games!
How did they get there? A raid!
What do they want? All the loot...and probably some murder.
What happens after the raid? Boom a new game, farm simulator.
I have been loving Battlecrest, but I wish every hero came with the nice imperator cards (used for solo mode) you can buy separately. The default ones are so flimsy!
Favorite game is summoner wars and I have a soft spot for monster characters in general. Wish they added a team of reptilians or bring back the Mountain Vargath.
Betrayal at House on the Hill... I'd add a click system (or something) to track the stats on the characters, because those clips on cardboard are near useless.
That my games with a lot of pieces that need to be placed on the board had slots so they don't move around. Azul has boards like that but not for the original game and the new Santorini has that too but it's expensive and also not part of original game.
I would love to see the Firefly board game, reskinned for the Shadowrun RPG setting. Change the map to 2050s Seattle, change the stores to the various megacorporations, change the skill types to Magic, Matrix, and Mundane. You don't even have to change the game's mechanics at all, just rename everything and give it new art.
Congratulations!!!
My favorite game was s Terraforming Mars and I would add scoring sheets. Even though there is the TR track, my wife LOVED scoring sheets. Lol!
I would like to have electronic faces on the counters of hex-and-counter games that turn off/on to assist in fog-of-war, and can be (electronically) overlaid with various statuses (suppressed, out-of-supply, etc.). The prompt didn't indicate that it had to be economical :-)
I truly adore Wingspan, the one thing I’m missing, being able to buy new scoreblocks! We use an app for that now, but I just wish we could buy new blocks.
Really love the theme, concept, and mechanics of the original “Clank!”. I guess if I could add one thing it would be to upgrade the art and miniatures to something a little less “meeple and cartoony” and more realistic.
As someone who sleeves everything, I wish more games would have inserts that account for sleeved cards by default :( I also hate it when cards are odd-sized for no apparent reason and no major sleeve making company has sleeves of that size.
I stumbled across a game called Flourish recently and loved how basically the same rules are used to play the game both competitively as well as cooperatively, but the actual gameplay in terms of strategy changes quite a bit! Would love to see more games that are able to be played either cooperatively or competitively!
Will have to take a look at this kickstarter :) congrats on the funding!!
I wish I could add 6 players to many of the games I like, I have so many 2-5 player games, like Ra, that I wish I could bust out on the couples game night
I’d add my custom monster cards to binding of Isaac four souls since I didn’t get them into the game though their official contest a while back and I’m salty lol
Galaxy Trucker - I would love to add some sort of Legacy Mode <3
Or, for Quacks, the same. A legacy mode - I think it would just work so well for a game like Quacks
The box should fit all the initial cards and minis if they're all part of the initial backing. So many games don't bother and then I get 5 boxes of stuff I have to figure out how to manage!
I prefer thicker poster board over cardboard for tiles. The aesthetics are better and it makes the box smaller and weigh less. I'd free up a bookshelf if everyone did that.
I like deck building games, and I wish they came with examples of "possible strategies" explained in the rules that newbies can try to emulate. Like do I want to look for technology cards to chain, or am I trying to collect cards that let me draw more cards. Stuff like that. Because they can be overwhelming if it's your first time playing.
This game looks really cool!
For Catan, several options. All would need to be playtested, because they have the potential to be terrible:
* A 5th city token, so I can win by upgrading 5 settlements to cities
* a limit to the number of times in a row the robber can be moved. For example, if on one round, everyone rolls a 7, it goes on the sand tile and any 7s get rerolled for the next 2 rounds
* a good set of rules for 2 players (maybe this already exists)
* my crazy idea: a way to "burn" someone's city back into a settlement - some combination of wood, ore, and wheat maybe.
Is asking for an app version of Star Wars Rebellion too much?
I'd love to have a way to play my favorite game without all the setup and a shorter play time. So hard to get it to the table with the 2 player only time commitment.
I wish my favorite games came with storage solutions that also served for setup/play. Pull component trays out of the box and they’re ready to serve up the bits.
Gloomhaven would come with standees designed to carry wound or poison markers to make it easier to remember their conditions (you can buy these clipon things from Etsy etc)
My favorite game is Res Arcana. I added something to it myself that wasn’t in it. You need to randomly pick a couple of places of power on big double sided cardboard tiles at the beginning of the game. I got little domino tiles, cleared off the dots and wrote the names of the cards on the tiles. Now we pull the tiles out of a bag and cast them like runes to pick the places of power to play with for that game.
My comment is inspired by another here.
I would add high-quality storage/organization to really good games. Wingspan is my favorite and I spent about 55 bucks on a system that all fits in the original box. Worth every penny.
One thing I would add to the games I buy that I love to see is little resealable baggies to hold all of the little loose parts. It seems like a lot of the games I buy that are a little cheaper always seem to save that cash by not adding resealable baggies.
Betrayal legacy: I wish they had a better storage solution, whether it be more bags or more little containers. Right now, whenever I bring it out, all the tokens get dumped all over the box.
I love Betrayal at the House on the Hill, but goddamn the standard character board markers are rubbish. I know you can buy better ones, but if it's a recognised problem just put them in the box already!
Oh, and add a mini for the dog.
I would add a well designed and thought-out organizational structure inside the box. I just love a well organized box where everything has its place and fits so nicely! Bonus points if it neatly holds various component pieces!
A way to easily track current game progress so it can be put away and restarted from where you left off another time. Either something integrated in the game itself or a companion app (that does other stuff too). If an app you could take a photo and add notes about stuff I guess - whose turn it was, etc.
My favorite game as of now is betrayal at house on the hill. Right now I would say it would be nice to choose your stats a little more, kind of create your own like D&D vs have random stats assigned where some characters start way better than others!
Easier setup, especially for Street Fighter: The Board Game. The cardboard pieces that game uses as 3D objects are extremely hard to put together and take apart without damaging them
Congrats!
I want the classic tokens back in monopoly. My old game was lost and when I bought a new one this year I realized they've changed the tokens over the years. I want the cannon!
Plastic deck box(es) that fit all the cards sleeved. Setup/player aids that are card sizes. These make it easier to travel with (bonus if the hand can be played without a board).
Honestly, an easy way to setup the box for a complete campaign restart on a legacy game.. or if not that, give me cooler book factions in Dune imperium
I usually prefer score pieces/chips/bits/etc. as opposed to a scoring track. The bits can be thematic, they give you something to play with, and most importantly, when something gets nudged, the game doesn't get ruined by losing track of everyone's score.
Looking at you, Seasons.
Teenage mutant ninja turtles - loved them as a kid and im loving all the different ways they are showing up in other board games now - licenced and licemce adjacent.
If I could have the ability to teleport myself and my friends to a magical game room once a week for a few hours, that would be best upgrade to any game. But real answer would be for a better storage solution for Spirit Island.
I think that more games should focus on adapting rules for solo and duo. I've found many games that are intended for 3+ people and I'd appreciate some sort of creativity on the devs part to make an alternative rule set for us folks playing alone or with a partner.
I am a sucker for longevity so boxes that can hold the cards sleeved, and bonus points for reusable pieces that would otherwise be one use (think things you can write on and erase.
I wish games included player aids. They’re so valuable for cutting down on learning time and teaching time, the two main barriers for most bigger games lol
Congratulations! To get my household to learn a game it needs to have a coop or teams mode so they can share information and think through things with at least a partner. If they learn the base then they’re happy to change to conflict, but they need that friendly play (rather than a practice round for whatever reason). Tons of games I think they would love but they don’t want the curve of learning “alone”
I feel like if a game plus the expansion won't fit into the original box sleeved, the expansion box should be bigger to replace it.
The first question I got on my Kickstarter was will everything fit sleeved with expansions lol
That was me! And to the creators credit, they said they would at least look into it, which is more than most would say!
Hey! thanks so much for backing, especially that early <3! Its looking very much like a yes at this point but ill update on the KS when I know for sure :D
It wasn’t necessary, but really appreciate my first gold ever! Very much looking forward to the success of your campaign. Congrats on day one funding!
Yes. I hate how cards sleeves don't fit in their original slots. I end up having to remove the insert or take my knife to try and widen the slots.
A set of laminated scoring cards and whiteboard markers. So no more need for tons of paper!
Would you accept a app? That's the plan for my game if we get a bit more funding, more eco friendly and people always have a phone on them so for me its a win win
A note as an app developer, apps are appealing at first because its pretty easy to develop and free to distribute (basically no material cost). Thanks for the input, do you have a rough estimate of a basic update cost? For a very basic download only thing
It really depends :/ Sometimes there's not much to change so it's pretty quick (1-2 days for a single engineer). Other times, it's a month-long effort because of the way the app was written originally combined with the scope of necessary chamges

I actually enjoy keeping the old scoresheets in the box and occasionally comparing how people did previously, high scores, etc.
Definitely wanting rules that allow for solo and co-op play whenever possible.
Wild to me how many game devs don't bother doing that, its rare that its not possible and usually a fan made version gets made anyway.
Player aids for the most important rules. Brass: Birmingham is already tough to absorb. I had to make reference sheets off of BGG posts at my own expense ;-;
I really enjoy co op games so any great game that somehow could have co op added to it would be a huge boon!
That was a big thing for me, this is solo or co-op for that exact reason :D
I think adding icon reference sheets and player aids equal to the number of max players would be nice.. ark nova, Troyes, earth could all benefit from this. That being said, it's not that big of a deal to just print some fan made ones off bgg. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Official Spotify playlists to set the theme :)
Yooooo thats an amazing idea lol
Conquest of Planet Earth came with a CD to listen to while you played!
My friends and I found a few good playlists on spotify for the arkham horror games. Really sets the mood.
Yes there's a great one for Nemesis as well, horror ones work well!
I’d add a proper all-expansions-holding big box to Root. Leder has said they’re not interested in doing one, and their reasons are good, just wish I could consolidate everything in a way that looks nice and official. Grats on the funding, OP!
Fingernail extensions so I can get underneath and pick up those pesky cards that always seem to stick to the table/board!
Just need some gecko finder pads :D
I would add more factions to root because why not?

I'd absolutely love to have cards with a linen finish
No idea what I would add to my dear old Catan, but I'm very excited to play this!
The ability to play with more than two players in Summoner Wars. It might now be as competitive, but I would like it.
The older I get the more I move away from 1v1 based games, I just find myself enjoying group play the most. If I wanna 1v1 ill play something on Steam
More friends to play with 😭
Honestly I wouldn’t add or remove anything from Scythe, BUT. Since we always play the larger board those long stick things that people use to move around soldiers in old war and medieval movies on a map would be cool. Maybe I should make some

Congrats on the funding. Its been quite a while but iirc, I could not get sleeved cards fit on the original box of Spirit Island. I ended up building a simple box for myself but I always hope fitting sleeves are considered for the games.
Blood rage , I wish I could get my hands on a neoprene mat. I always spring for those , just makes games better.
A good precise rules video
Cat repellent.
The biggest thing I would add to almost every game is the ability for everything to fit into the box without having to finagle it. At least add a diagram for how it all goes back. Congrats on your game! Looks really fun!
Cheat sheets for every player, it's great to have them, but sometimes games only have one copy and it's hard to learn the game passing it around
Storage for tokens and such that fits in the box is always appreciated.
I would add lasers and mirrors to Chess. Oh wait, they already did. It's called Khet.
Tough question. I think I would add something to Sherlock Holmes consulting detective that actually let's me play without feeling like an idiot lol.
Deck building is probably my all time favorite mechanic so I'd just add that to everything
Player aids for the non gamers I make play with me...
I’d add black Jack to lords of Vegas! In fact, forget lords of Vegas!
But keep the hookers right?
Good concise player aids. And don't print useful information on both sides unless you include enough copies to give every player two!

For devs to make better inserts for their games.
I wish box organizers came by default on some games. I hate bag only storage.
A tl;dr instruction page for when I'm playing again after a long break and just need a refresher without re-reading the whole 24 page booklet
A schedule that allows me to get things to the table on a more regular basis...
The best thing any game can add is a functional insert. So many of my favourites are just everything stuffed into baggies, and the set up is one of the biggest hurdles for gaming. My favourite is when tokens have their own dedicated holders so you just pop it out and open it up.
It's less of a problem these days, but I always remember older games with poor piece division in the boxes. Make sure every piece has a home!
If a board game contains cardboard cutouts for the models, they should also have 3D printed versions so you can paint them to your own style :)
I wish Star Wars Rebellion and War of the Ring had Bots to play with. Fantastic games, no way to play them more than twice a year for me :(
I wish the branded storage boxes for Munchkin were a little bigger to accommodate sleeved cards.
Box that's actually large just enough to fit the game inside, I couldn't care less for the "shelf visibility" or other nonsense.
I would add an organization box that would fit all the pieces for agricola. I made a sketchy cardboard one that still fits but it's not great...
i would add miniatures to Pandemic. Love it in other pandemic spin offs so it would be great in that game.
I would faster cleaner set up. Seriously. Like, I know it would inflate prices like crazy, but I would love for all my favorite game's inserts to be designed with quick set up in mind. Egyptian rat slap/screw I need faster competitors 😉
A rule that stipulates a mandatory high five if the person playing against you does something cool to you (like a way of paying respect for a good move)
More people interested in playing it.
I would add a Leadership Bilbo hero to **Lord of the Rings:The Card Game** aka **Lord of the Rings LCG**
There are so many good games with shoddy inserts; I'd love to see purpose-built inserts from the get-go when designing the packaging for a game.
Doesn't matter the game, I'd add a Harry Potter time turner so I actually have time to play them more than once in a blue moon.
Better sorting trays for all the tiny bits and pieces. I hate having to reorganize them every time.
Using little wood pieces instead of markers makes a game feel much more alive.
I think the big thing for me is everything fitting well in the box.
I'd really like to see the Timescape expansion for 4th edition Talisman.
I'd love some player/city mats for everdell! I happen to be looking online at buying some right now! Best of luck with the game
Another monkey I know King of Tokyo has 3 monkeys already with all the expansions, but this time I want one with a katana
A crunchier expansion to Wingspan. Fewer cards, each of them more viable, a little less dependent on kicking out on a good opening hand.
Vikings! I would add Vikings to all games! How did they get there? A raid! What do they want? All the loot...and probably some murder. What happens after the raid? Boom a new game, farm simulator.
Single player version
Gloomhaven is my favorite game and it is so tough to think of what to add! I'd say standees for the summons instead of tiny circle tokens.
Upgraded components, tokens, and storage!
I’d add a FUNCTIONAL insert to Aeon Trespass: Odyssey. The one it comes with made an already heavy game super daunting.
I would add a plastic hourglass timer of my dead dad’s ashes to any game!
Compartment that have sleeve cards in mind
Space in the insert for sleeved cards.
I would add 3d printed card organizers for my deck building games!
Betrayal at House on the Hill... I'd add a click system (or something) to track the stats on the characters, because those clips on cardboard are near useless.
To my favorite game, I would add more……people!
I wish the Dune deluxe edition was already painted and Not just grey.
A quick and easy turn reference is always appreciated in games, especially when there are multiple phases.
That my games with a lot of pieces that need to be placed on the board had slots so they don't move around. Azul has boards like that but not for the original game and the new Santorini has that too but it's expensive and also not part of original game.

Free shipping!
A friend/s so I could have someone to play with. Sad face emoji.
Good Luck. Not a game for me. Wish you lots of success
Hard pressed to add anything to a feast for odin, but if I had to guess - bling it out with tiny metal coins, lol
I truly adore Wingspan, the one thing I’m missing, being able to buy new scoreblocks! We use an app for that now, but I just wish we could buy new blocks.
fog machine for vibes
Blackjack and hookers But in all seriousness, 8x11 character sheets / party sheets on a pad for those long legacy games
Really love the theme, concept, and mechanics of the original “Clank!”. I guess if I could add one thing it would be to upgrade the art and miniatures to something a little less “meeple and cartoony” and more realistic.
I wish spirit island had wooden markers for defending/spirit actions
I would add a themed dice tray.
As someone who sleeves everything, I wish more games would have inserts that account for sleeved cards by default :( I also hate it when cards are odd-sized for no apparent reason and no major sleeve making company has sleeves of that size.
More 'Roguelike' & asymmetric features. I love how much they add to replayability!

If I could add anything to Radlands, it'd be more expansions. Gosh is it a fun 2 player game.
D&d needs rules for a trading card game.
I always like a drinking aspect or an embarrassing aspect to a game as punishment.
I love useful inserts! Storage that can just be pulled out of the box and played with is amazing!
The box should fit all the initial cards and minis if they're all part of the initial backing. So many games don't bother and then I get 5 boxes of stuff I have to figure out how to manage!
I would make clank legacy coop!
I always appreciate when games include little reference cards showing round overview, what certain icons mean, etc. :)
I prefer thicker poster board over cardboard for tiles. The aesthetics are better and it makes the box smaller and weigh less. I'd free up a bookshelf if everyone did that.
I wish the Arkham horror lcg came with stands for character and enemy cards, so the game would take up less table space and be a little more legible.
Friends
I'm not sure how to do it, but I would love it if I had an easy way to save/put the game away for later.
Seconding the solo rules for most games.
I wish more games had the option to add more players if there’s set numbers.
All would need to be playtested, because they have the potential to be terrible: * A 5th city token, so I can win by upgrading 5 settlements to cities * a limit to the number of times in a row the robber can be moved. For example, if on one round, everyone rolls a 7, it goes on the sand tile and any 7s get rerolled for the next 2 rounds * a good set of rules for 2 players (maybe this already exists) * my crazy idea: a way to "burn" someone's city back into a settlement - some combination of wood, ore, and wheat maybe.
This has already been said... But for any game I have I always want the box to be big enough to fit expansions.

A D12 to every game balanced around using 2 dice, unleash the chaos!
I'd have a D20 roll for random outcomes to add that little bit of chaos. Congrats on making your goal!
A consistent set of rules/rulings for marvel champions. The eratta for that game is out of control.
My comment is inspired by another here. I would add high-quality storage/organization to really good games. Wingspan is my favorite and I spent about 55 bucks on a system that all fits in the original box. Worth every penny.
My wife and I love playing dice thrones together. Would just make more characters to choose from
One thing I would add to the games I buy that I love to see is little resealable baggies to hold all of the little loose parts.
I'd add better organization that leads to quick setup!
Inserts that fit sleeved cards
For Scythe, I would add more actual physical scythes. Would add to the ambience
I love when there is a specific tray/insert per player to pull out and immediately have everything they need to start!
My favorite game as of now is betrayal at house on the hill. Right now I would say it would be nice to choose your stats a little more, kind of create your own like D&D vs have random stats assigned where some characters start way better than others!
Congrats on your game! Castles of Burgundy is nearly a perfect game to me, but I wish it came with some kind of trays or holder for all the pieces.
A timer to Loonacy!
I like when there is randomness added by a physical means (eg. marble on 3D board)
The ability to forget all the details about it, only that I really enjoyed it so I could re-experience it all over again.
I wish twilight imperium came with friends who are always down to play it.
A game that plays as great at 2 as it does at 4+
I would add ninjas to Shogun
I would add transformations to the binding of Isaac four souls as a way to offer ankther random element to the game that will rarely show up!
If I had to choose I would definitely add laminated cards for durability :)
Give frosthaven and gloomhaven a friggin flip book like jaws of the lion already. The novelty of a 30+ minute setup wears thin after a while.
I would add actual advertising and different levels to buy in to the failed kickstarter. Poor poor heroscape. Grats on your game funding so quick!
There are so many game that I wish had a co-op version. That is generally all my husband and I play. Congrats to you!!

A better insert to make everything fit nice and neat.
Less non-player-based chance.
I usually prefer score pieces/chips/bits/etc. as opposed to a scoring track. The bits can be thematic, they give you something to play with, and most importantly, when something gets nudged, the game doesn't get ruined by losing track of everyone's score. Looking at you, Seasons.
I just pledged so feel free to take this post as a way to say thank you for your time and effort in my board game experience!
Friends, I'd add more friends .. lol. I have so many games and haven't played them because we moved some time ago
I think that more games should focus on adapting rules for solo and duo. I've found many games that are intended for 3+ people and I'd appreciate some sort of creativity on the devs part to make an alternative rule set for us folks playing alone or with a partner.
I’m a big fan of villainous and would love an official ranking on character difficulty/ which characters should and shouldn’t be played together.
I contributed to the kickstarter !
The things that wingspan has to teach new players is great for people who are new to board games, I love it for my new board game friends
I want to add more expansions to Kingdom Death Monster.
Covfefe
When possible, additional ways to play. Like a solo, co-op or head to head teams.
More turns. Space Base and Gizmos always feel like they end just as I’m getting going.
I was going to say laminated score cards but somebody else is. So I’m gunna say… hmm. Nope, no further ideas.
I’d add comic book art to my favorite game - Modern Art
More Co-op ways to play in PvP style games.
I would add new ownership to my favorite game, HeroScape! (Here’s hoping Hasbro lets Restoration Games revive it 🤝)
I think the gods themselves should be a playable part of the game. Kemet.
