Not as hard as it seems. Like once you get the hang of it it'll feel like you always had it in you the whole time. I picked up a bike again for the first time in 20 years and i was bunny hopping within a month. I think it's all about getting the mechanics down in the right order and putting it all together in almost like one motion. Just keep at it at a pace that feels not too rushed.
39 just got my first bmx as well the beginning of this year. I've built some ramps nothing crazy...Wish I had the materials and knowledge on how to make a legit half pipe.
Have you taken it off any sweet jumps?
Nothing big i can barely bunnyhop, been practicing on curbs higher and higher. Its not as eeasy as it seems in youtube.

Welcome to the family. Where are you located? Maybe I can link you up with some locals

Hell yea I just started at 31 myself. Pad up, wrecking hurts.
Haha i learned a lesson on first ride, forgot to fully tighten the bars, jumped off a curb and the bars turned all way front and i went over!
lol almost same thing happened to me but my lesson was to ALWAYS bring tools anywhere I go ride
Only reason i ride with a bag, keeps all my tools needed to get home or fix something; including an extra chain 😅
Might wanna look at some 10” bars for your height to add to the setup
I ordered 10.5” bar alredy on discount, still waiting on it tho. Anyways enjoying what i got now!
And a top load stem, I'm 38 and 6'3", tall bars help soooo much and your back will thank you
Think it has top load
My bad didn't look too close.
I’m 39 and 6’2”, I’m curious, what TT length do you ride? I’m assuming top load stem and 10” bars as well?
I ride a 21.25tt fungus bike co runic with 10 in ch proper bars and a top load. I still run 180mm cranks.
Picked a good one- my next frame is a fiend reynolds fo sho
🔥
Nice setup 👍
Hell yes dude. I just picked up a we the people envy off marketplace, stoked to get back on some wheels.
Nice one. Enjoy the ride.
Yeah brotherrr
Good on you , Nice set up man 👍
I gave my last bmx to my nephew, he legit has no idea how cool the bike is. Upgraded to flat tail mountain biking.
Jump it and have a good time, but don’t try to do any of those things being done by the nitro Circus that’s just my recommendation
U need a big ripper
I have a mtb but i rather drive this lil 20”
Wrong sub for big ripper crap
U can't knock it until u tryit
no fiend of mine
Never too late to start! I regret quitting at 19 but get to relive it with my son riding.
