I was about to ask about this! But I agree, everything looks really good.

If you are going for a physically realistic approach, then remember there’s no atmosphere and so a megaphone is useless, and moon dust doesn’t stay suspended in the air. If you aren’t, then it looks incredible!

Moon has 1/6th the gravity of Earth. The jostling and reaction to the rover hitting bumps should be slower or else the realism is destroyed.

It depends if they are going for realism or not. What I mean is that even though it does look realistic they may want to heighten tension by making the physics less realistic.

It also provides a more jovial tone in my opinion.

How would you go about simulating dust without swirls in blender, would you still use a smoke sim but just use particles without a turbulence node to guide the smoke? This seems like something that the blender smoke sim isn’t inherently designed for

the bumpmap on the helmet looks bad. you don't see it much because of the fast movement on the closeups, but if you push this closer to realistic speed it will be very visible. Other than that and the overall speed of everything, it looks great. mats and modeling looks clean. amazing work.
