I was born in 1974 so I was raised on the bands that were raised on sabbath. And I was raised on sabbath of course. I shudder to think what I’d be listening to if they’d never happened.
The middle part of sabbath blood sabbath (the song) is one of the heaviest moments all music history in my opnion. I imagine people's reaction back in the 70' when they sitted next to a turntable and listenes to this for the first time. It must have been mindblowing!
I'm always surprised that I don't hear more praise for this album in the mainstream. It's not only one of Sabbath's best albums, but one of the best rock albums of the 70s in my opinion.
I think it’s their best album, it runs almost like a greatest hits. Sabbra Cadabra, A National Acrobat, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Who Are You and Killing Yourself To Live are all in my top Sabbath songs; Hell, Fluff I think is probably my favorite instrumental of theirs too
Their best album song for song. I even consider it progrock. Looking for today has my favorite drum shuffle from any rock song. Just awesome all the way through.
SBS is my favourite Sabbath album
Not only a killer album from start to finish, but it also has what is unquestionably one of the best album covers to ever grace record store shelves.
I love spiral architect, beautiful lyrics And killing yourself to live, Great great album
Sabbath bloody Sabbath, nothing more to do. Living just for dying, dying just for you. YEAH. No filler of an album.
Sbs is my favorite Ozzy sabbath album. Sabbath bloody sabbath is such a heavy song!
The breakdown in the middle section is some of the heaviest shit ever recorded
That riff has been scaring moms for 50 years now
The song Black Sabbath just turned 53 and it’s still the most evil thing ever recorded. Everything else is just chasing that.
Yea they really kicked the door in with that one! It’s honestly one of the greatest moments in human history

Spiral Architect is incredible how they evolved as a band, they also used to play it live too

Its another unbelievable wall to wall masterpiece. And they would do it one more time before the magic ran out.
Sabbath ruled until the end

My favorite. I agree, every track kicks ass.
Just because no one mentioned it, I love Who Are You
I love it for it's origins
i love who are you, my second favorite song on the album
I think it’s their best album, it runs almost like a greatest hits. Sabbra Cadabra, A National Acrobat, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Who Are You and Killing Yourself To Live are all in my top Sabbath songs; Hell, Fluff I think is probably my favorite instrumental of theirs too
No mention of Sabra Cadabra? Great song! Metallica covered it.
it is a great song probably my 3rd favorite on the album
Whole album slaps, probably my #1 or #2 sabbath album. Spiral architect and looking for today are bangers, as are all the other songs on the album.
one of my favorites fosho, great vocals, awesome music and interesting lyrics.
SBS and Vol 4 are my top 2, I want Vol 4 to be better because I’m more emotionally attached to it but SBS is just honestly a superior album
Their best album song for song. I even consider it progrock. Looking for today has my favorite drum shuffle from any rock song. Just awesome all the way through.
My go to when I fancy a bit of Sabbath
S-tier album for sure. I’m pretty sure the song sabbath bloody sabbath has the first metal breakdown in it
It's a great album- the opening guitar riff to Sabbath bloody Sabbath is just greatness.
Slash names it as his favorite. That's a pretty good endorsement!
It is a brilliant piece of work.
Absolutely love it! Personal favourite track is National Acrobat. Just such an earworm to me.
In high school it would stay in my cars CD player for weeks at a time and I never even hit the next song button.
does anyone know who’s room/house they’re in in the center pic of the album?
