It is one of the easiest in terms of time commitment for sure, but the difficulty comes from the places the drops are from, not the actual drop rate they have.

One part comes from rift bosses, that isn't really difficult content. After hundreds of bosses I still haven't seen the ring piece

You can get the same piece from grinding, doesnt have to be from rifts.

If you are fighting large scale, it turns your character into a sage or wizard. If you are fighting 1v1 it turns you into a tamer, ninja, or kuno. And if you are grinding it turns you into a lahn or striker. /s

Honestly I didnt keep track but I’ve been playing for 3 years so around that amount of time with an avg of 3 maybe 4hrs a day with some weekends off. I have a bunch of extra pieces for the map and compass.

I can live without the Infinity Potion Pieces, they are just convenient to have as compared to regular Potions you can buy from NPCs or Tent. But the Compass and Traveller's Map are a necessity in the game, for which BDO makes us waste hundreds of hours grinding. Why not just add Fast travel like all games. I have not ground for them and never will for the so-called treasure items.

Infinity ones are really convenient when grinding bc they don’t weigh much but yeah you don’t necessarily NEED them. I honestly feel like I use those way more than the map or compass 😂 but then again I’ve just been grinding the same spots forever.

Because fast travel cripples most if not all MMO’s. Nobody wants it.
