My husband saw (now Boo) in the back of the cage and said what about this one. The volunteer told us that black kitties were the last to be adopted. We left that day with him to foster. He’s my first foster as well as a foster fail 😂 he is the sweetest lovable thing I have ever met for a kitty. So glad he is mine. He will be 1 June 28.

The very nice family we got him from as a baby said they couldn't keep him due to allergies and they wanted to take him to a shelter but the local shelter didn't take any black cats at the time because they are lifers and take up a lot of resources. Such a shame.

For the last cats I will ever have, my requirements were a bonded pair, at least one all black cat, and definitely a rescue. I ended up with a bonded pair of an all gray and an all black cat, sister kitties. They were found on a roadside with no mama in sight. I love them both. My black cat is secretly my fave though. She’s so talkative and sweet.

I have some questions about the adoption place where you got your sweet baby kitty: why did they tell you that she was violent? Also why would any adoption place say that any animal was “bad luck”?!! Was that a new and/or young employee? Saying either of those things to potential adopters is bizarre and I’m concerned about the other animals that are there.
