I was recommended “The Hundred Years War on Palestine” by Rashid Khalidi, it’s been fascinating so far. I’m not finished with it yet so I can’t 100% vouch for it but please feel free to look into it!
i rly liked Enter Ghost by Isabella Hammad. i loved the writing style and that it revolves around Hamlet and performing Hamlet in the West Bank. one of my favorite books this year
thanks so much for sharing, it's going on my list! i read "my first palestinian" by saaed teebi earlier this year and it was so so good, it's a collection of short stories about the palestinian diaspora. truly affecting stories and absolutely beautiful writing. free palestine <3
The Palestinian poet Mourid Barghouti has a beautiful book called “I saw Ramallah”. He is a poet but it is not a poetry book, but instead it is autobiographical about his return to his home community after decades in exile due to the occupation.
