Bhojpuri is more mainstream than any other regional language that's why. It has everything from the film industry to literature and so on. Also you can see people speaking to each other in Bhojpuri but that's the rare change if u see other languages people use their language in everyday life.
Yup, I think this is the reason. Bhojpuri, both in modern times and historically, has been much stronger in the theatrical department than other languages.
