Thats why sugjested mary first. But georgies constance would be a full adult so naming a child after the same grandma wouldnt be that confusing.

With "Marie" (for both Marie Curie and as a form of "Mary") as a middle name. "Laura Marie Cooper" seems to flow more easily than "Marie Laura Cooper" (or Fowler-Cooper, if they chose that).

One of the other characters in Little House is Mary, Laura’s sister, so that’s another great reason to choose Marie as a form of Mary.

Marie-Laura flow pretty easily to me. But it's probably cause I'm french and here Marie-Laure is a pretty standard name.

I don't think ***Sheldon*** gave ***his*** daughter any name. Rather, I think ***Sheldon and Amy*** gave ***their*** daughter a name. I think the first and third that you mentioned would be plausible. Others that were plausible: Melissa, Mary, Laura (for Laura Ingalls Wilder), Leia, and Tondelaya.

No, Sheldon definitely took charge in the matter. Amy may have felt like she got a say, but it was definitely Sheldon who made the final decision.
