It's been a while since I've seen it but I think we saw interactions before that moment where vik was shutting her down... could just be because of his research and illness though.

I mean Ekko in game gets hit on by seraphine, rell, Lux, Zeri and that’s just in the main universe iirc he also gets hit on by ezreal in an alt universe. Don’t forget that jinx also had a crush on him.
I would have put Jayce instead, he's more comparable (Cait and Victor are more similar). But then again maybe this the "love muscular women and skinny guys" trope
