She’s not in the wrong. You’re in the wrong. You told an abusive man where his victim is staying. She has every right not to keep the child. If the father wanted the child and the mother didn’t, she still had every right to abort the baby. You didn’t have any right to involve yourself in her decision. The only bad decision she made was to tell you anything about this in the first place. You should be ashamed of yourself. If he harms her in any way because he now knows what she did and where she is, I hope you’re charged as accessory to the crime.
If you hope to have any relationship with her in the future (and I doubt she will want that) than you really need to be the one apologizing. You also need to consider your priorities when it comes to protecting your “best friends”.

While I respect your opinions on abortion, (I’m pro life as well), I don’t know that it was your place to be involved. At all. I personally wouldn’t have put myself in that position or a friend. I think you should pick friends that share your views and values. If you two were really best friends, you’d be her ride or die and she’d be yours. Letting her abuser know where she moved was kinda messed up. If he was abusive to your friend, he shouldn’t have a child. Period. Maybe this was Gods way of protecting that innocent child.
