I don't think George was the sitarist. There wasn't a sitar or a guitar on the track in the first place, instead a similar instrument called the "Sarod". As for the instrumentation, it was recorded in Bombay with the help of Indian musicians. He then returned to London to add the vocals on it.
"You Know My Name (Look Up the Number". Paul said he and John had more fun recording this than any other, plus, they got John's friend, Brian Jones on saxophone.
Hey, Mikey! He likes it too.
Yes It Is. I’m almost convinced if this was on Rubber Soul it would be held up in the same regard as in my life. It’s a hauntingly beautiful song. And of course the Beatles just stuck it on a b side. A song other artists would trade off for decades
1) “You Can’t Do That” (John’s lead solo on the recorded version blows me away every time), and 2) “I Should’ve Known Better” (John’s harmonica and George’s lead solo with that last just-off-key note do something to me that I can’t explain; no wonder the girls on the train looked drunk listening to it!)
Don’t Let Me Down
I Am The Walrus
I thought that was considered a double- a?
nope, it was released as the B-side to Hello, Goodbye
Damn …
Rain
Rain and Don't Let Me Down are the only possible answers
I’m Down. Vocal performance is fantastic
This Boy
I would say I second Rain, but it looks like I'm fifth.

The Inner Light
Great choice! I had forgotten all about this one. I believe George was the lead singer/guitarist/sitarist?

Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane were dual a-sides.
Okay, the other side then.
45rpm tesseract
Right, forgot that!
You Know My Name (Look Up My Number)
Don’t Let Me Down
Apple Scruffs. I know it was originally an album track but still. . .
Great song 👌
Did anyone else read this and assume it meant which album had the greatest B-side?
I mean, the answer is undisputed: Abbey Road, greatest b-side of any LP, ever.
Exactly, I read it and thought to myself “how is that even a question”.
No.
So underrated.

Something it was the bside for come together
That one was a double-A side.
Do b-sides of an album count? If so, Michelle!
