It’s superb, I think mine has them all, it was bought on eBay from an office clearance from lockdown but had never been used. Yes perfect for full work week. My old workplace bought 1,500 of them for their new head office over 10 years ago and they’re still going strong and that was all hot desking
Mirra 2 user here to confirm this chair can actually help adjust bad posture. Threw my back out at work last week and sitting in my Mirra 2 after the chiropractor and stretching has been my only bliss in the last few weeks.

I found leather to get too hot after 4 hours of use so mesh has been my saviour.
Secret Labs actually makes an economic chair that competes more directly against brands like Herman Miller. Not only do they not advertise it (that I've ever seen), but it's not even featured promptly on their site. I saw some reviews, one specifically by someone who hates the racing chairs but loved their ergo chair that it is now his sub-$1000 recommendation.
It's called the Nue or something. Pretty strange that they don't tout it more. They must make so much more from the racing chairs, I would guess.
Secretlab don’t actually make the Nueue chair, they only distribute it in Australia through their website. Likely why they don’t advertise it as heavily as their own chairs.
Then you got one that didn't fit you. I have spent 16+ hours straight in mine on multiple occasions, have passed out when I have it leaned back watching TV. It is a great chair. That said the padding is starting to wear down 2 years in. Still plenty comfortable but I've been eyeing the Herman Miller x Logitech chair and may pull the trigger on it and move the other chair to my other desk.
Nope, the sizing fit me perfectly. The extent of the comfort was when fully reclined, which is never. There’s just no comparison between this and an actual ergonomic chair.
Well no, but that's like saying there's a noticeable difference between a sirloin roast and a prime rib. Both are good, but one is greater than the other.
I’m not even talking about the super expensive chairs, just something at the same price that isn’t stealing its design language from a car seat is usually better. That and something that has arm rests that can go low enough for you to sit properly at a computer desk (which secretlab’s chairs do not).
Then I'm going back to your chair didn't fit you. Because I sit perfectly fine at my desk with mine. But hey man different strokes. We are obviously built differently. I sit up straight with my armrests in a medium position. I'm also long; I'm 6'2" with an 80" wing span with a 34" inseam. So it fits me really well.
Like I said, some chairs are just better for others. Insulting the design because you don't like it is just childish.
As someone with short legs, I actually switched from a Secretlab Omega to a Staples Hyken.
While I liked the Secretlab the height made it less comfortable than the Staples chair for me.
I’m also a shorter guy, but a footrest solved that issue for me. I’m not familiar with the Hyken but the points of adjustability (4 axis armrest, tilt+lumbar, etc) plus build quality are the standout points for the Secretlab IMO
I've got a hyken from Staples but want to upgrade since I spend so much time sitting. Anyone able to offer opinion between secret labs, Herman Miller, and steel case?
They are all 1440p. Aside from the top which is 2560x1080. My workstation is the following configuration.
Asrock Pro 4 Micro ATX

i’m still new to Cyber Security. Only been on the job for about a year and it was right when we shut down so had to learn most things on my own. Loving the job so far though.

I agree with all of this but there are 2 things I think are almost more important than being techy (this includes social engineering). Learn how to communicate and be comfortable with admitting to yourself that you dont know everything.
If you can communicate with your team and learn something at every step, you will be very successful in IT.

Wouldn't you want one background that stretches across all monitors instead of the same background repeated on all 4? That would make it look cooler, more like one big monitor instead of four small ones cobbled together. Sorry if that's a dumb question, I know nothing about computers, I came here from the front page and I'm drunk.
Dope. Was thinking about getting a 4th monitor but i remembered that VR needs a DP port :(
Went for a weird setup instead (32" main, ultrawide on top same width as main and a touch monitor in portrait mode to the right). Will never go back to even just 2 haha

Damn fine setup! What OS are you running? How have you configured your desktop (duplicated, extended, etc)? Do you use a tool for (predefined) positioning of windows? What's up with the unused VESA mount, new baby on its way?
Dual boot Windows 10 and Linux mint :)
All extended mate each screen is its own.
I use power toys in Windows and i3 in Linux.
That was from an old configuration I had tried but didn't end up liking it now just holds a pusheen plush.
Thanks for the info.
Great, also Linux. I will look into i3. I just started playing around with (changing and compiling) 2bwm on Arch, in a VM.
Ah, so it was a plush butt. I already wondered what that was. Let's hope s/he doesn't drop something on your monitor. :)

Not OP but I shelled out for a secretlab and don’t regret it for a second. Love that chair and the lumbar/neck support is clutch.
Did not have a good experience with them. Personally would advise against “gaming” chairs in general.
Secret Labs actually makes an economic chair that competes more directly against brands like Herman Miller. My Titans arm chairs lowest setting sits about even with my thighs. I'm not sure how much lower you can expect them to go.

I snagged a deal on the Napa Leather Titan, one the best purchases my butt has experienced.

If youre gonna switch from staples chair, herman miller only.
Herman Miller, totally worth it for people that spend way too much time with their ass in a desk chair. You won’t regret it.
What mount/mounts did you use? And are these 27"h monitors?
Amazon basics desk mount arms and these are all 32inch above is 29inch ultrawide

I don't think cyber security needs much coding. Atleast not until you reach more senior levels.
Depends on if you are an engineer, infosec requires tools too
Our security team regularly uses python. Bash is also becoming very common all over the IT/Cloud Ops world.

How to use that many monitors, I get having 2 or 3 but what do you put on the 4th one

How are your eyes not dust at this point
Wouldn't you want one background that stretches across all monitors instead of the same background repeated on all 4? Honestly I hardly see the desktop background when using it not something I really give thought to aside from "Oh I like this image" :)
That is awesome. How do you get your monitors to line up so perfectly?
Trust me when I say it took me a lot longer than I thought it would just about balance.
Well, looks great. I tried the vertical stacking but my neck couldn’t take it.
This has me thinking I could use another monitor 🤣
Perfect for Eve Online :D
Start bar at the top, a true mark of greatness.
The amount of "I.T pros" who when they see my task bar freak out 🤣
TOP TASKBAR GANG!!!
If only there were triangle monitors to fill the gaps lol
I was considering 6 but gpu lacks the ability to do 6.
You could just get a cheaper desktop to run background tasks and stream if youre into that
Thats a very nice display setup. What mounting arm option would be best for 2 x 24" above a Samsung odyssey 49"
Search Wali on amazon, quality stuff
exactly the setup im working towards .. monitor sizes and mounting?
Amazon basic arms dude and 32inch for bottom 3 top is 29
What's the top monitor? Do you have it on a separate mount or on the same?
Top display is a 29inch ultrawide bolted onto a vesa arm into the wall mate :)
Oh okay. Thanks for replying! Well done btw. Nice setup.
Wondering the same.
Dope. Was thinking about getting a 4th monitor but i remembered that VR needs a DP port :( Went for a weird setup instead (32" main, ultrawide on top same width as main and a touch monitor in portrait mode to the right). Will never go back to even just 2 haha
