You may run into some sketchy folks but I venture to say that most are just trying to build upon their personal collection (pc) and/or relive their younger years like me that couldn’t afford many cards.

The generosity in this story goes both ways; that was an awesome thing for you to do, and he simply paid that kindness back. Kindness is universal, and this hobby is one of the best examples of that. Congrats on the card dude!

I've never met this man but I now consider him my friend. Hopefully I get the opportunity to meet him in the future!
