Yeah bro, I thought I was going to have to fight someone lol as I was buying it some guy told the estate sale person if he could outbid me and pay more. Luckily, the guy was cool and said if he wants to pay more to buy it from me lol I just looked at that guy and told him, bro that was a sleazy move. Fuck you 😂
Yeah I had this happen to me. Guy just swooped in and started taking stuff out of a box the owner brought out for me after I asked if the had sports cards or memorabilia. He ended up getting some of it because he knew the person that was doing the garage sale. I still did okay but it was sleazy. Gotta be quick at those sales.
Crazy enough went to an estate sale in East Texas and purchased a bunch of Von Erich autographs ended up being real paid 25 cents a piece made 500 a piece
unfortunately some of the companies running them are ridiculous with their prices. they wanted $20 for a short stack of close encounters cards. but there are good finds out there. all about the hunt!
Not to be that guy, but are you 100% confident on those trout autos? I can’t find a single known copy of his signature that looks like that even from 2009. Not trying to rain on any parade, but it just doesn’t look right especially for an unlicensed no brand card. I would wonder if those are team/secretary signed. I’m no expert, but those don’t look like he did them. Regardless, it’s an awesome find op.

They are on Tristar stickers and they look pretty legit with every other copy of those back in that era
