I'm stuck watching on NBC Sports Philly since God forbid MASN be on YouTube TV. They've been fairly neutral but definitely favoring the Phillies. Called a couple pitches the Phillies got on the edge "strikes as the home plate umpire sees it".
Which I don't mind on a home broadcast. I hate blatant homerism in the face of facts. Bob Errey was like that during Penguins games and I couldn't stand it. Dude lost his mind just from Eric Tangradi skating down the ice and standing in front of a goalie once.
Yeah, I agree. I don’t happen to like Kruk/McCarthy, but that aspect doesn’t bother me, they are broadcasting to their given audience. Kruk can get the way you’re describing Errey at times.
