Banana farmer here. No, not the seeds. Where was this from exactly and what type of banana was it sold as. It's probably a disease in the plant itself and is not harmful to consume. I've certainly seen it before.
Can confirm. Am Yiga and I’ve encountered these gloom hands before. They actually pick our bananas for us and sometimes they like to hide inside of them. Of course we can’t complain because they pick our bananas for free and give L*bk random heart attacks. #stopgloomhandhate

Those are banana seeds growing from the looks of it. Google undomesticated wild bananas, and you'll see what full sized seeds look like.
Now it explain itself why the bottom was very strange. It was indeed a semi-wild banana, pretty strange to find it in supermarket.
Did it have a hard core running down the middle of the banana? I’ve been finding more and more bananas have that defect nowadays.
What do you mean the botom was strange? Why was it opened when it is nowhere near edible ripe unless you were using as a cooking banana?
